Join me with my guest Deanne Converse as we discuss ways to become more self-sustainable with our livestock feed costs.
Deanne is sharing her years of experience in feeding livestock without the feed store. With the rise in feed costs over the past few years, this is one podcast you won’t want to miss.
We’re not only talking about how to feed cattle, but chickens, pigs, sheep, goats and more.

Well this would explain why I have been using dried fall leaves for bedding for my rabbits and they eat 1/2 of them if not more!

I heard saving the limbs with leaves on them--- Why not just shredding and collecting in fall when dry in bags ??? And storing stacked under tarp?

You want to harvest them while they're green, if they've already fallen and are dried there's not the same nutrient levels.

I'm new to this channel. I'm always surprised when a person uses their name as their KZfaq channel because in the beginning it is one of the hardest ways to attract viewers unless you are already well known in other places. Along with your terribly lengthy video titles you have done very well. I'm glad you didn't say in your profile that you're a fifth generation KZfaq homesteader because that would have made no sense. I usually like examining a channel more on the analytical and business side than merely the content and value within the video. There's a lot to be said about your channel. How do you predict you will eventually hit a million subscribers. I can imagine cranking out over 350 videos was not easy, though I'm sure you did have help. Keep up the good work and I will certainly keep watching and subscribe. Watching a person's journey from beginning to end is always an interesting one.
