Following are the details of places we visited in jammu, if you look at this video you will get good knowledge about places to visit in Jammu and Legendary places to eat in Jammu.
We started this journey on 17th Feb 2020 from bari brahmana to RS pura border
We stayed in below mentioned hotel in Jammu, service and hotel was decent but only thing i noticed was that this is not the best place to stay in jammu bcoz this place is in outskirts so travel to main city consumes time.

I live in Lahore and my village is in district Sialkot. We are so close yet so far, Amritsar is just 10-15 Km away from Lahore & this Jammu region is across the entire Sialkot border. May peace prevails & these routes open. Your videos are just amazing, love from Pakistan!

Also, the landscape of this area (RS Pura) is so much similar to our Sialkot region especially the Shakargarh region, only cars are different, landscape, types of houses are exactly the same.

Nice episode, If you want to make similar dal at home. Then you should buy a slow cooker. It is worth the money only for making Maa ki daal. Just put Kaali Daal, Rajma(no need of soaking), 5 times water, Tomato puree(fresh tomatoes blended in mixer), whole spices- Cinnamon, Black cardamom, Bay leaves and couple of whole red chillies, Dry spices - salt, chilli, dhaniya powder, garam masala, butter and garlic(optional) and no need of onions. Leave it in slow cooker on low setting for 10 hours. I do it in morning and go to work. by the time I come back Dal is ready. Then I mix some fresh cream and leave it for cooking for another hour till the dinner time. Then add desi ghee on the top. Done. Trust me that home made dal in slow cooker is no less then any dhaba daal. And it is so convenient for working women or even men. Thanks.

Harish ji thanks, I specially bought a slow cooker for particularly making this dal. I am a vegetarian but they are very good for making tough meats like mutton. Not chicken because it cooks fast. Any proteins which takes long time to cook tastes best when slow cooked. Even Rajma, maa chole ki daal is amazing. The concept is it has ceramic pot inside the metal body and it releases slow heat and get the best taste out of everything. Get one and try, you will love that. And sure you can come, I am in Melbourne. If sometimes in future you come to Australia do let me know.

I’m staying in Bahrain 🇧🇭 from past 18 years, 2 years back we visited North India we had conducted the trip for 1 month covering golden triangle most places in Rajasthan, Punjab, and Himachal Pradesh, Haryana. Mr Harish, you must try exploring Bhadarwah and other areas of Chenab Valley. World's best Rajmash (Rajma), known as Jammu Rajma actually comes from Bhadarwah and Marwah (Kishtwar). Chenab Valley is an outstanding example of composite culture of Kashmir and Jammu.

My Maternal Grandfather (Nana G) some times used to go from Sialkot City to Jammun City (on bicycle) on his duty before 1947. He was a Telegraph instructor in Post and Telegraph department. Your visit of Suchetgarh village also reminded me when we happen to visit our side of this border a few years ago, when things were normal and we watched SECHETGARH Village from TOP of the ARMY POST.

Now I can say you have successfully visited all the famous place of jammu.... And the reason you like perha's rajma chawal because the water they use in pehra is different in taste .... And if you go bhaggar to eat rajma chawal you will prefer bhaggar rajma chawal over pehra ..so real game is water they use in making rajma and rice....

Harish jee : I hope you’re doing well in this tough times. I have been watching your videos since last 18 months and I must tell you that you do a fantastic job in explaining the places that you visit and also the cuisine’s that you try at those places. Am I guess because of this your videos are always special so I must complement that. However I watched your five episodes of this Jammu tour and I feel that you were in a hurry at different part of the video. Maybe it was a issue with the time but I guess I could see that unlike your other trips it looked to me You were in a hurry to cover this. I belong from Jammu and I and I must say that they were fewer places that you should have explored and should have tried the local cuisine’s. But maybe use it next time and try it. Nevertheless I will be waiting to know which will be your next place to visit if this call coronavirus pandemic gets over as soon as possible. My best wishes Sandeep. Thank you very much.

Actually in maximum places which Harishji covered in this tour are those where Photography and Videography is prohibited, like in Vaishno Mata Mandir, ShivKhori temple, Raghunath Mandir and RS Pura Border due to security reasons. May be this could be the reason that you felt video was in a bit hurry.

If you bought Puraney 'BASMATI' Chawal (from 2018 last year's crop) then its a good deal. When these basmati rice are cooked the smell (rather fragrance) spread over to nearest homes. We experienced this.

Actually the Rajma Chawal you had in Peerah is a major attraction for majority of the traffic that diverts to NH-1A(now NH44) from Batote towards Srinagar. If one takes NH-1B from Batote towards Jammu-Doda-Kishtwar, you will encounter a parallel attraction of Baggar wale Rajma in Ramgarh area some 20 kms from Batote on NH 1B. Both tastes are unique. The point where you ate Rajma Chawal in Jammu is the Branch of original Dhaba in Ramgarh. The environment of Peerah with mountains and streams no doubt enhanced your Peerah experience, but I am sure Sir, if you had went on NH1B (much less explored beauty of J&K) and had the similar experience in the original hub, you would have had a difficult decision to make amongst the two experiences 😊

Ek time tha jab 2002 raghunath mandir p fidaayin attack hua tha. Tab pure jammu m market raat 8 bje band ho jaati thi.. us waqt ki sarkaaro ne bahut dheel di thi security measures m.. now india feel secure because of strong intelligence. Strong Prime minister who never delay in time to implement security measures.
