Congress might be good, or be better after some years. But not for northeast. The tag being the most ignored part of the country being northeast got developed due to utter ignorance received from INC national leaders and high command. (Which they will never accept) (latest eg: after loosing elections Kharge said northeast election doesn't matter since they are small states ) .For northeast, BJP is the only source of development, even after CAA issue, people voted BJP because of the importance the leaders give towards the masses. BJP will be in NE though there will be some influence of hindutva politics with it. But, the people are not dumb anymore to vote for INC again. I hail from Assam and this view has developed not in a day but over the years.
