ABOUT THE INTERMEDIATE PATHWAY
Improve your surfing with a structured follow-along program for intermediate surfers to break bad habits and to help you master the fundamentals, from how to catch a wave, how to pop up better, generate speed, develop a neutral stance, tap into the power sources, start building flow, style and develop your cutbacks. The program includes twelve sessions breaking down everything you need. You can either follow along or go at your own pace and join all other surfers on the same course, ask each other questions and share your success stories. At the end of every month, we go live with a feedback webinar where we answer your questions and review your footage.
ABOUT THE BEGINNER PATHWAY
A structured program for beginners to learn to surf better and understand the fundamentals, from what surfboard, how to catch a wave, how to pop up, find your stance and ride along the green wave. The program includes six sessions breaking down everything you need. This is not recommended for novice or even intermediate swimmers-more for the advanced, such as former competitive swimmers or accomplished triathletes. But a great water workout for surfers is water polo. If you have a club nearby, get into some practices or scrimmages with them. The head-up freestyle that polo players perform mimics paddling a board. And the short, fast swims that are such a big part of polo are similar enough to the sprint paddling that precedes the pop up, catching a wave. Also, repeated short, fast swims as occur in polo are a great way to build endurance; you'll be able to paddle out and catch waves for hours on end if you're in water polo condition. Chasing a ball around is also a lot more fun than swimming back and forth staring at the bottom of a pool. It's not for everyone to be sure. But if you're able, it will help your surfing.

Yes. Swimming has strengthened my paddling and endurance big time..I love it... Rhythmic and peaceful

Yep so peaceful isn’t it , just listening to the bubbles . Especially if you have a chaotic job

I love pool swimming, always feel so good after doing a 1km swim after work no matter how crappy I feel before jumping in 🙂
