Jess & Chris, I am in absolute awe of your tenacity and continuous positive attitude. Most of humanity would have thrown in the towel a LONG time ago. I can't believe there are any more parts or systems left on Blue Pearl to fail. To think that you are TWO YEARS into this "adventure" is amazing. I was starting to think that things were under control and that the days of fun in the sun were starting to outnumber the days spent on your stomach in the bowels of the boat fixing yet another something that a prior owner 'band-aided' together. Then I got to the issue with the rat. To me, that's the day the 'For Sale' sign would have gone up. But not for you two. UNBELIEVABLE that you could keep up the cheery attitude. Kudos to you both! I think you should make a voodo doll of the person who sold the boat to you. Sticking pins in the little guy is a good way to get rid of some stress and frustration every time you have to dump another %^#&-load of $ and days of time and effort into yet another repair. Speaking of $$....the episode on what it has actually cost to purchase and repair Blue Pearl seemed to be missing a significant line item. Nowhere did you mention the cost of beer, wine, and Mojito ingredients...... :) Given some of the days you've had working on the boat and trying to wrangle help from various marina employees, you don't ever want to run low on alcoholic refreshments. Chris is certainly in line for "McGiver of the year award" while Jess wins "Ms. Congeniality" hands down. You guys make a fabulous team. I hope there'e lots of fun and great sailing in the not-to-distant future for you both. Love the videos. Incredibly professional. Keep up the great work. (I learned about your channel from an article in Cruising World Magazine.)

Still smiling from ear to ear☺️ Thank you for all of your encouragement and compliments - they mean the world to us!!🥰 It's honestly comments like these that keep us going when we're at our wits end. So, thank you, a thousand times over. Sincerely, Chris and Jess
