Completely agree, we went in on way up but today wind favoured getting south so we opted to get below sound of Luing

@@CoricContessa32 thanks for advice and safe trip, passed through Kylerae at the wrong time following a well crewed yacht that stormed through. not fun and a bit dumb in hindsight... was under canvassed, got caught head to wind and the channel was too narrow to short tack like the americas cup candidate ahead of me. then took it too easy on engine, spent an hour working my way out of the eddies and race :(
