Trip my brother I appreciate you and your beloved wife! Y’all blessed me tremendously with this podcast! My wife and I are in a similar situation. I was injured in the USMC in 2009 and she has been my caregiver for our entire marriage. Hearing Jessica speak on how she felt and what she was thinking of through various things got me to think about all my wife has been dealing with as well. So often in my pain and disability I forget that others in my home are affected by my disability as well! Thank you again for this podcast may it bless many individuals who need it. What a beautiful example of a truly Christ centered marriage. Trip, you were the first rapper I ever heard from 116, before o knew what 116 was. The 20/20 album is still one of my favorite albums. Thank you for having your family on the podcast and creating a conversation about the reality of marriage. Just started reading “The Meaning of Marriage” by Timothy Keller and was pleased by how what I was reading was being played out in this podcast. As a single man (not married) who is in a committed relationship, it’s refreshing to hear about the hardship and the joy, and how Christ is the only one who can sustain a marriage to the caliber of spiritual growth that you both needed. Loved this! Please keep making more 🙏🏾
