Teaching your players how to play out from the back from a goal lick or other keeper restart without just blasting the ball up the field is perhaps the most important aspect of the game you are going to teach your 7v7 players, as they will need these skills as the move into 9v9 and 11v11.
Using a controlled and consistent pattern of play will give your players the tools they need to be successful - even 3rd grade teams can be VERY successful with this approach.
Learning to use your keeper as an extra field player at an early age is vital for their development, as this is a key aspect of higher level soccer performance in the modern game.
