To start this podcast I had many apprehensions, I had a viral video and what follows a viral video, like clockwork is hate. So when I started this podcast I was scared, because people wouldn’t want to hear opinions from me, cause I’m just a girl who who went viral. In the beginning I got an opportunity to work with an actor who I was big fan of, I had gone with a lot excitement and it truly was a dream come true, but that episode with an actor shattered my confidence, throughout the episode I felt like I was made to feel small, and as the episode ended it was the smallest I felt in my life.i went back home after the podcast with tears, wondering why did I work so hard throughout my life to make a name for myself, just to feel this small.
And that feeling persisted, every time I did podcast I felt like I must hold back, cause if i say a word or two more i would be taunted for it.
Yesterday I had the opportunity to do a podcast with RJ Balaji sir, I did not want to feel the same way i felt the first time- so I had only prepared movie related questions, did want to utter a word more. But I had the most important learning of my own journey. I was very nervous, under-confident and I tanked it. But I tanked in front of a very kind man, and for the first time in a very long time, I felt larger when i left the room. In conversation with sir I realized I had censored myself from saying anything with the fear of what would other people say, I do things with my heart on my sleeve- I may not look like it but everyday I was doing my best I could. This episode may not be my best, but on a personal level it was the best thing that could’ve happened to me. I’ll learn to do better. I’ll keep learning, and I’ll keep doing it with my heart on my sleeve as I always have.

This is the first time I've commented on a KZfaq video; but frieswithpotate is one of the first Tamil (maybe tanglish?) channels where I've felt Gen Z has genuinely been represented beyond a surface-level. It's so refreshing to see someone like Sameeha rise on this platform because the conversations she holds with her guests on frieswithpotate are actually relevant to our daily lives (they just hit different 😭) and ultimately feel genuine. Sameeha consistently says what needs to be said, which is why I hope she continues to make great, soul fulfilling content.

Sam, I just read the description on this Video. I am so glad that RJ Balaji gave an opportunity to realize how good you are at everything to try. Be it dance or technology stuff or conducting such soulful interviews, you are absolutely great! After your viral dance video (I have seen your techology talks before I guess and I didn’t recognize it was you who was dancing in that video), I did see a lot of good comments and some bad comments. After that when you posted some dance or quirky videos, I was sad to see a lot of hateful comments. I hoped that you can see all those people trying to put down you because she got a success that they cannot dream off. It’s their way of feeling good about themselves by typing rude comments hoping that it shatters your confidence. I thought you will not give them a chance to feel good. But I was heartbroken when I came to know that you took down that video. But then your podcasts started . I understood that you are making a statement that you are much more than a girl who went viral in single video. I watch all your interviews and even though I liked every word you said, I noticed that you are self censoring or getting conscious about what you are talking. I am so grateful that RJ Balaji made you realize even if there are 10 people who like your work, do it how you like it. Infact you have only 10 haters, rest of us love you ❤. So keep rocking, Sam!

That throwing the book back with all the questions you had written and to carry on the conversation with such amazing topics and questions, this was a THUG LIFE moment and I hope you are really proud of yourself for having the belief and confidence in yourself to do what the situation needed. Changing the course of the conversation and making the appropriate changes is probably the most important feature of the person doing a podcast and constructing relevant questions to get more from the person opposite to you. I think you did that exceptionally well. So proud and happy to see that. More growth and good things to you.

But also the capacity for stardom / fame to change people is so easy, and the fact that he's actively spending time to resist that temptation is very admirable. Great work Sameeha ☺

Hello bro…. just saw this podcast and felt it’s a really good one. In that the way you put the notes down and do the rest in your own was awesome. You have mentioned that you have a habit of reading comments in your videos and you have explained why you are doing this which is really need an appreciation. He spoke about constructive criticism in social media and he told mostly people will get negative comments from unknown people. Agreed it hurts. I think you have to pass these negative things it’s purely in my opinion. He told about pachasattai podcast thing. I didn’t know this but seems it has a value and the way he explains about this is really overwhelming to me. As he mentioned be a rock star and do more content like this. Finally I need to mention the description of this video. Definitely this episode will be a memorable one. Please don’t think that you went viral and that’s why you received these opportunities. I would say no you have a talent and that’s the reason. Please don’t put a sensor as always you mentioned. Agreed that you feel it is required because you’re a girl. There are some good people out there who supports you because of your work and not gender. I don’t know why I am typing all these. Anyway thanks for the video. Byeeeeeee………..

One of the best interview that i have come across. Awesome work by you and lot of nice messages passed by Rj Balaji. I always wonder on why you underplay your contents, but that is not the case, your contents are worth watching. Keep rocking!

The last few minutes of the video made a lot of difference . I personnelly connected with both of you. Balaji words, don't care about what others says. And seeing you smiling irrespective of things your personnelly going through and learning from is advise. I believe you will achieve great heights. Just Don't overthink and be happy. You are already a star.

Sema Interview RJ Balaji Bro, I usually admire people who express themselves through speech. the way he speaks is similar to the category of people we meet in daily life. the interviewer too had been very thoughtful to keep it simple, It is a bigger achievement at such an young age to be approached by someone like RJ Bro for his movie promotion.
