And that bended precept is a work based religions fundamental because it agrees that conquering sin isnt important to Him or anybody. Which as a result, opens the door for higher agency to play God. Which in prophesy is to deceive the world with a person claiming to be Christ, but is not. Your explanation is the Spirit of Christ, which has been sent to convict us. You got it backwards. The book of Enoch contradicts the Bible. There is a reason the book of Enoch is not in the Bible... it is not the inspired Word of God which can be seen by the fact that it contradicts other passages found in the Word of God.

Laid back, if this is true, (which I believe what you say could very well be true, and probably is if people would just educate themselves on what is all going on today), you will never convince an entire religious organization to change their thoughts or course on that teaching, whether it be SDA or any other organization. Just keep on studying and get yourself educated is all I can say.

The books of Enoch are fables. 1) They are in discord with with scripture (but curiously enough in agreement with Catholicism) and 2) Not even written by Enoch But, of course, if you wish to rely on man's teachings (no matter how much they are in disagreement with scripture) then that's on you.

John 14:2-3 tells us that we are going where Jesus went, heaven, and that's where he prepared a place for us, mansions. Revelation 20:4 tells us that thrones to judge and reign are set up for us. We know from the rest of the Bible that the judgement takes place in heaven. The Bible is very clear on where we are going.

@@Vladi.G Don't forget those prophecies showing Jesus comes back AGAIN bringing all the saints back with Him. Jude 14; I Thess 3:13; Rev 21:2 This would have to be AFTER Rev 20's 1,000 years. May even want to consider the 4th, 5th and 6th angels of Rev 14:14-20 which will each happen successively AFTER the 3rd angel's message is given. It would seem to me the 4th angel is the 2nd coming while the last too are the final destruction of the wicked.

God designed procreation to take place within the context of marriage. Matthew 22:30 tells us that in heaven we will be like angels and not marry. If there is no marriage how could there be procreation?

@@Vladi.G What about after we leave heaven to come live in the earth made new? Isaiah says there will be babies and children (Isa 11:6-9). Remember the new earth will be made AFTER the wicked are destroyed Rev 20 shows that's 1,000 years after the righteous dead are raised. I would hardly call someone who has lived for 1,000 years in heaven then moved to the new earth a child or a baby. Granted the angels in heaven do not marry nor are given in marriage (they live in heaven). Neither will humans WHILE IN heaven. But apparently there will always be children and babies in the new earth.

@@Shjanzey The reason they are described as giants is basic genetics... when the genetic pool is broader, the children are bigger and stronger and genetically improved (hybrid vigor & heterosis). Prior to the two people groups coming together to marry and have children the genetic pool was small. Once the two people groups married and started having children the genetic pool increased which resulted in bigger people. This is basic genetics. The Bible is very clear that angels do not marry (Matthew 22:30). The Bible actually doesn't use the word angels… it simply talks about the sons of God and daughters of men (Genesis 6:2). If we let the Bible interpret itself and don't just put in our own interpretations, we see that the sons of God refers to those who follow God (Galatians 3:26, Romans 8:14, Matthew 5:9, John 1:12, John 11:52 etc.) and by contrast the daughters of man refers to people who did not follow God. The sons of God are likely the descendants of Seth, who followed God, and the daughters of man are likely the descendants of Cain, who did not follow God.

@@markphelps9218 I didn’t say what I think I believe. I said what the Bible says and I explained who the Bible says that the sons of God are. The Bible doesn’t say that angels can’t marry each other, but that they can marry humans. It simply states that angels don’t marry. Period.

@@Vladi.G Moses wrote the book of Genesis. He was, I assume, "average" height for the people of his time. Man was original created a "little lower" than the angels (say average of 10-12 feet tall). By Moses' day they would indeed look like giants by comparison. Some "giants" even still existed in the land of Canaan. I really doubt the pre-flood humans thought of themselves as giants. Rather we would be midgets. "Modern" humans just don't want to consider how our race has degenerated since the flood.
