I recently stumbled across your channel with the recent Laowa Ultra Macro lens and I started watching a few other videos and I, like others, really enjoy your videos. I find it really crazy the amount of things I can relate to you with and that's probably why I continue to watch your older stuff. I was in South Korea as well but long time ago, back in the '80s. I watched a couple of your videos to see if it still smelled really bad in the summer time but you didn't mention anything about it so I'm guessing that has changed. It used to smell of poo because that's what they fertilized the rice patties with and it would so strong it would gag you. My uncle had a dairy farm growing up and it was 10x worse than that. I've watched a couple interviews of you mainly wanting to see if you would talk about the advances in AI in the last year and if that is altering your photography in any way. One last thing, you mentioned struggling with the thumbnails, you might want to check out Matt Wolfe's channel on YT. He covers AI stuff and I know he's done a couple videos on thumbnail generation.

Being of the older generation it's enlightening to hear through your channel how photography and nature can have such an impact on our well being. We have all experience of such journeys as you and your guests. There is so much beauty in nature to see if we can only slow down and actually see what is around us. Often I am on my knees taking a photo of a tiny insect, passers by will often ask what am I doing, when I point to the insect and they look closely their first reaction is Wow how did you see that. Thank you Kim for creating Photographic Connections, so many wise words spoken in the episodes I have watched so far.

I follow both of you on KZfaq. I recently retired and enjoy getting out. I have Nikon Z7ii, 14-30 f4, 24-120 f4, 100-400 and 105 macro. Kim, nothing wrong with D750, D500 and D850, but we need the get Courtney to "Dance" through the forest mirrorless.

Thanks Kim for making this wonderful channel where we can discover intimate details of our favorite photographers and discover new ones, Courtney Victoria and Sean Tucker are some of my favorite photographers, and would love to see you interview Jonna Jinton from Sweeden and Markus from MarkusPix channel on youtube USA. and i am looking forward to the new photographers that i have an not discovered yet, i think it may help if they could post some of there photos at the beginning of the video it would help us decide what video to watch, there is so many videos today we simply cant watch all of them. i enjoy watching your videos from another channel and seeing you on other photographers channel as well, keep up the good work Kim. I a nature macro photographer mostly but not exclusively, i live next to Niagara Falls in Canada, love seeing videos and photos form other countries that i have never been to :)

Another lovely podcast discussion. I like to think I’m attentive when I’m out walking, but I definitely don’t walk into a room and observe all the colours! What a helpful discipline. I do enjoy Courtney’s videos. Interesting to hear she’s also into fantasy stories. I can see that there’s a lot of crossover with photography - the focus on wonder and going to new places without preconceptions.

Kim I just wanted to say how much I’m really enjoying your podcasts. I love it because you not only talk about the photography you get to bottom of why we love photography and the benefits of having this amazing hobby as a source of therapy for our wellbeing and using it as a way of connecting with nature is ju brilliant. I’m a full time carer too my amazing wife who has Alzheimer’s dementia so to me getting out with the camera in nature is so beneficial to my own mental health I can just lose my self in it and take in the wonderful world which we have privilege of calling home and being able to capture that is just the best thing. I love Courtney she is so easy to watch and brings a very relaxed feel and makes me laugh. Kim I have been following you since the beginning of my photography journey you’re love of your beautiful country and passion for photography is contagious. Keep up the good work. Trev
