As a side note to hint at how savage Ye Hua can be... He told Su Jin to request the emperor to issue a decree to marry off to the Eastern Sea. Su Jin only managed to enter Xiwu Palace due to the emperor's decree as a reward for bullying Ye Hua's mortal wife to death. Su Jin's eyes belonged to Susu, who was actually Bai Qian as a mortal. Ye Hua has only allowed her to live because she's keeping those eyes alive, thus Su Jin's reaction to the compliment towards her eyes being beautiful by their original owner. Bai Qian doesn't remember being Susu but Ye Hua still only accepts her as his only wife.
