In this first part of a special seven part series of catching train action in different states, we travel to Ohio. On the US 224 corridor. Along the CSX Willard Sub. We visit Willard Yard, see a long manifest pass by and then we catch a few trains around the CSX/Norfolk Southern diamond at Attica Junction. We spend a lot of time in Fostoria and see TONS of CSX trains of different variety. Stacks, Manifest, Coke Trains, Steel trains, we even see a Loram Rail Grinder. Fostoria truly is a busy place. We also wander further up the northeast side of the NS Fostoria District and get a neat NS ACe with a nice lashup slowly crawling along, and finally another NS and there's a meet of sorts.
