Did you get a walleye or lake perch dinner when you passed thru michigan? Lake St. Claire is full of perch , when it freezes there are hundreds of ice shanties

Yeah!! The Erie Canal Bicentennial is next year. The launching of the Seneca Chief, a replica of a typical canal boat, just happened in Buffalo. Let's go Buffalo!!! I ❤ NY.

The Erie Canal boats you showed look like a Narrow Boat in England. One of the trips I have always wanted to make. Now back to the vlog.

What is the maximum draft that will go thru the Erie Canal? Someone told me about a year ago that he went through with a sailboat that has an 8 foot draft and I was wondering if this has been done by others?

4.5’ ft but if it’s all working correctly maybe 6’
