I think so, because Velgrynd and Masayuki also have a Soul Corridor, so it's not just Rimuru and his companions who have one. In Volume 21, a concept similar to a gate is introduced, with Benimaru, Diablo, and Zegion reaching the realm of the Gate. They can draw the power of Imaginary Collapse from Rimuru. It seems to be a higher-level existence. The author should write a serious side story explaining the laws of this world, as many concepts don't seem to be very clearly explained.

OMG Of all the absurd levels of ability in this show, the ability to just BACK UP YOURSELF is so hilariously over the top I don't even know where to begin and I love it! Veldora doesn't even NEED to learn anymore. He can be as childish and reckless as he wants. Literally, what could happen? Even if he dies, he just respawns like a video game character now! So long as he doesn't piss off Rimuru or Ciel anyway.

If rimuru 's ep is the sum of veldora and velgrynd ,then why is it counted as his ep ,is it such that rimuru can freely manipulate veldora and velgrynd's magicules? And can his magicules while in true dragon release be utilized separate from veldora and velgrynd?

Well, True Dragon Release is like having two massive batteries. Because Rimuru has established a Soul Corridor with Veldora and Velgrynd, he can tap into their energy without needing their permission. In fact, Rimuru has never used this skill in the Light Novel. Since Rimuru's God of Void's Imaginary Collapse provides him with an inexhaustible supply of energy, there's no need to rely on the power of the two True Dragons. In the Web Novel, this part is more interesting. Rimuru feels like his energy is never fully charged, and it turns out that Veldora and Velgrynd are using some of that energy form imaginary collapse, so basically Rimuru served as a huge battery...lol

@@user-ej3io8wm6y Velgryn and Veldora didn't have soul corridor, so they two have no effect on each other. In WN, it was Ciel who sending the energy to Velgrynd constantly in order to fight with Velzard, and Veldora, on the other hand, stealing all the time.

But to be honest, in the Web Novel, the setting made everyone think Velda was the final boss, but then Yuuki suddenly appeared. That twist was great. I'm curious how the Light Novel will continue this twist. Just very curious."

well, both of them are at final boss level, Feldway’s full power is rival to True Dragons, so that means his EP is above 50m at least. And later he absorbed Michael’s full power (will talk about it in EP100) so the final EP should rival to Rimuru’s full power. As for Ivarage…well, no body knows, but I think after his awakening, should be over 100m at least

"A rare 'world system' skill that not even Rimuru possessed" ...I think Rimuru might be dumb guys. Like, cuz of food chain, he has all his subordinates skills, doens't he? Every natural skill of their own (perhaps not racial intrinsic skills? But I think those as well as he took those from monster she ate way back when as well iirc) + any skill granted by Ciel. Normally a soul can only have so many skills imprinted on them, but his subordinates basically act like a skill storage device effectively. Plus this sunuvabitch's soul seems abnormally powerful and can hold an abnormal amount of skills. + I think more can be stored thanks to lord of abundance/his imaginary space within himself Sure he may not use them as well as them since they are training their skills and he isn't, but Ciel has perfect understanding and Rimuru has an ultra high speed thought acceleration, so he can gain years worth of understanding in the blink of an eye thanks to Ciel sensei. So, no, shut up Rimuru, you absolutely have that skill you over powered bastard! Honestly I think the only reason he rarely/if ever uses his subordinates skills is so the author can make his subordinates fights more unique + his own skills are just so stupidly OP that it'd feel like a step backwards to use them. Like using a glock when you have a machine gun

what is "true dragon release"? does it just straight up boost rimuru's ep to 171mil or does it require rimuru to consume velgrynd and and veldora to utilize it?

171 is the max number and in this case, rimuru must need to drain both dragon’s power. They served as batteries, transferring power through soul corridor, I think Ciel trying to optimize the power so she didn’t used too much of dragons power. My opinion tho
