The differences between the Light Novel and the Web Novel are quite significant. Up to Chloe, or around episode 26, they are quite similar, but afterwards, there are major differences. Overall, Rimuru's power in the WN is stronger, and he resembles a god-like entity. In the LN, Rimuru exhibits more human emotions, I feel.
