It's Day 3 of our Walt Disney World vacation! We went to EPCOT today. We started the morning rope dropping Remy's Ratatouille Adventure before proceeding on to Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind.
We grabbed a ton of snacks throughout the day, ate lunch at Regal Eagle Smokehouse and dinner at Les Chefs de France.
We even checked out Journey of Water Inspired by Moana, which was the highlight of Benjamin's day.

I’m a Disneyland Mama, but I went to Orlando for work this past March and visited Epcot. I missed virtual queue for Cosmic Rewind, so I paid an extra $17 to ride, but it was so worth it. Loved it! I learned they play six different songs during each ride. I got Everybody Wants to Rule the World! 😃

Love those 👕 shirts. And it happens to be one of my favorite colors. I really do like Epcot. It's definitely growing on me. Can't say enough good things about your family. It really does feel like we're right there with you in all the action. Great vlog. I'm so excited for Animal Kingdom. My favorite park.

Have a great trip! We didn’t buy Genie+ on our second EPCOT day. This is the park where it’s needed the least. Most rides have a 5 minute wait later in the afternoon and evening.

My favorite EPCOT ride was Spaceship Earth. Rode it twice. It poured while there, but it was still a fun day. Glad your family had fun.

The duality hahaha We leave Florida/wdw to go to Disneyland for their food (and obviously everything else but I’m always hyped for the food) since wdw doesn’t really change things up very often in the parks themselves.

For sure! Disneyland always get the better food. We comment on this all the time to ourselves. Since Disneyland is a locals park, they change food often. Sometimes too often. Where at WDW, what’s there is usually there for months or years because people make once in a lifetime trips and they want those classic or standard food options everyone always recommends.

We were there two weeks ago at rope drop and frozen was closed at rope drop. Waited and it finally open hit frozen and after ride went right back in to ride it twice- rest of the day the ride was packed-

I'm with Amy. Cherry tastes like cough syrup.😂 Those donuts are a very good sharing size, although I'd consider not sharing as I ❤ donuts. Those kids meals had a lot of food. For my family, I split it among the kids. They'd never eat a full hamburger. Your family looks like they had fun. I love the 👕! I know your mom is thete, who is the other lady? Which WDW Park is James & Benjamin's favorite? Do they prefer WDW or Disneyland Resort?

It was a Flower and Garden exclusive. They had them discounted because the festival was ending and they were clearing stock. They mentioned that they’d likely run out by the weekend (which would have been Memorial Day weekend).

Greetings ! That honey cheesecake looked good ... I’ll need to try that on next visit . As many times as I’ve been to Epcot I’ve never taken a boat ride across the lagoon . Enjoying the Disney World videos . Haven’t gone in two years as I’ve been going to Universal. 😎😎😎

Would be cool to have the time on screen like the time that the footage being taken , I know it would be hard to remember the exact time everytime but it would be cool 🔥🔥🔥

That's exactly what I did! Any time you see the time on the screen, it's the timestamp of the video. I just looked at the exact time it was taken in the meta data of the video clip. Since we use our past trips to plan future trips, the time stamps really help me figure out how long various aspects of the trip took, from what time we left the room in the morning, to how long it took to get to the park, and at what time they opened the park or started letting guests on rides.

So a day or two ago they came out with a confectionary cookie that looks like this, but it’s buttercream not ice cream. And everyone in the comments of FB posts are really disappointed. It looks like ice cream! Not a cookie! And we all wanted ice cream. 🤣 Apparently you can get it in Magic Kingdom, but it comes a few days too late for us. Disneyland doesn’t have it yet. So I can’t try it. But hopefully we get it since the merch is available here as well.

Who has better food,Disneyland or Disney World?

Disney World has more variety, if we are taking Disney World as a whole as opposed to singling out one park, like Magic Kingdom that has terrible in-park food. But Disneyland gets all the “good stuff”. Disney World’s idea of a specialty dessert is a cupcake with a white chocolate medallion. It took a lot of research to find the “off the beaten path” snacks we get in these videos because the vast majority of desserts on most menus are not very exciting. Where at Disneyland, when we get new foods or seasonal foods, it’s often very creative and there’s not a standard cupcake in sight. We’ve also noticed that our food has more spicy and hot foods compared to anything at WDW. They do have some, but it’s usually not as hot as it claims.

Not going to universal how many park days would you recommend at WDW?

4 days minimum, one for each park. Or if you can manage it, we like 9 days, even with no Universal. That’s two days in each park and a day off in between for Disney Springs or something else.

Could you tell me what time and location virtual que is offered and which to pick first, virtual que or genie + first? I'm not familiar with how WDW works.

It’s 7 AM for both the Virtual Queue drop and the Genie+ drop. Virtual Queue is a bigger deal to me. So I’d book that first. The second try for Virtual Queue is 1 PM (I think?) if you failed to get it the first time. What we did was have Amy log in to my account on her phone and she booked our Genie+ at 7 AM at the same time I was grabbing Virtual Queue on my phone.

Yesss Royal orange from the Philippines! 👏 My mom grew up in the Philippines and was only able to get that whenever she was sick (which was a lot..). It's def still a staple! Was Club Cool always there?! Feels like I missed soo much when I went with hubby on our honeymoon 6 yrs ago (literally, we got married in May and went right after)! But maybe the rain also deterred us.. since we're also from SD and cant handle it lol 😅 Also I meant to ask in your first video, whaat are the fb groups that share where snacks and goodies are being left outside the hotel rooms?!

Club Cool was closed at one point. It used to be in a different location, then they tore out the whole around behind Spaceship Earth and it was one huge construction wall for a few years. Googling tells me it was closed from 2019 to 2021.

QUESTION: We’re going to DCA in the beginning of April 2025 & we wanted to try to watch World of Color from the outside seating area of Lamplight Lounge. What time would you suggest we try to get reservations for Lamplight in order to catch the show from there? 🙃 Thanks!!

The show is at 9 PM, so no earlier than 8 PM I would say? But be aware that others will have the same idea, so outdoor seating may not be available. You’ll want to specifically request a table with a view. And that could take time. But also factor in that if the table becomes available immediately that you don’t want to have shown up super early expecting it to take awhile, and then it’s not and you find your dinner is done already and it’s only 8:15 PM. Because they won’t want you sitting around for an hour unless you keep ordering things like drinks or desserts.

It’s possible to have a full and fulfilled day. But WDW is so vast, it’s impossible to get everything done even after the 9-10 trips we take. We had two full EPCOT days and still did not see everything we could have, and some of the things we had wanted. But it really just comes down to priority lists and focusing on what’s most important.

9 AM-10 AM or 7 PM-8 PM. We’ve found both to be good, with the evening edging out the morning, but most people are unwilling to chance it that late in the day, so I’d recommend AM.

Not really. A lot of people love Orange Bird. We’ve even seen merch for it at Disneyland and people wearing it here too. Even though it is primarily a WDW thing.
