Given form and fitness I doubt it. These predictions don't often come off. I think he'll play for as long as he's the best option at FB. People said the same thing when Ben Youngs came on the scene but have been callin or his replacement of late. If a better FB comes along then it'll be on Steward to rise to the challenge.

@@bodhid I mean I wasn't making a calculated prediction based off of anything... I literally just said he'll have it for that long if he 'keeps going the way he is'. Sure another FB could take his place in the next few years, but it's basically my long winded way of saying that Steward is damn good.

@@bodhid Not sure what your point is. If a better player comes along, they'll likely replace Steward? That's true of anyone in any team. At the minute Steward's shown he's world class under a high ball and very solid all round, don't think we've had a stronger looking fullback since Mike Brown

@@user-vk9kx5nh3j I'd agree that Brown was superb in most facets: attitude, fitness, high ball, defence. But he had a tendency to hold on to the ball and his passing could have been better. He was very reliable and solid but wasn't the most attacking fullback. Ideally you'd want someone that could do everything. Steward looks more dangerous ball in hand and has already scored some good tried at Test level and his work under the high ball is already at Folau-esque levels. He's shaping up to be some player but like everything he needs good fortune with injuries etc.

That and the ‘tackle’ on Freddie at the start of the first half that could have put him out of the game. The TMO was useless.

A captain has every right to question the referre, you sound like you think the officials are infallible. Asking them a question or talking about decisions should be encouraged for a captain and referees should expect their interpretation to be questioned if not obvious and indeed if iffy AF like the red card was never a red card. Captain should question the ref on that absolutely!

They just play each other home and away and the side with the most points overall wins.

He was supporting the ball, the tigers player was trying to cut off an option, unintentionally making contact, but the team in possession can't be held responsible for the opposition crossing into their backline and colliding with their options
