Beautiful pages. The lady is so pretty. Love the butterfly and earrings. When I was in England we went to a market and I bought some earrings from an Egyptian booth. They are beautiful.

Hi Barbara. I too never thought I would see paper distressed with a hammer. So Luise.! Your wildflower digis are beautiful. I have them on my list to purchase. Also love your video on 30 days of faces. I couldn't believe how fast your skill progressed from cartoonish to realistic. So talented. As s kid I was obsessed with drawing face profiles because I couldn't draw straight on. I have this challenge on my list too. You are a wonderfully talented artist. I love your whimsical faces. Morning Barbara, loved the collage you did on Friday, the page with the Asian dancer was awesome and I am so happy that you decided to use her "friend" today. She is lovely, I love the added "jewelry" and the added flowers. Your page is beautiful and a wonderfully gorgesso collage. I agree with you, Luise's grunging of her journal was something else. I almost wept when she attacked the journal itself with a Hammer, bone folder and then added the inks, but it was wonderful. Don't know if I would have the courage to try it myself, I would be to scared that I would destroy it totally, but, as you said, she just KNOWS how far to take it. She is defenately the QUEEN of GRUNGE. Thank you so much for sharing your elegant and awesome self with us and just love all the videos that you have put out. OMG. beautiful journal, incredible pictures, great combinations -- but my inner voice was shouting, "Get that bug!" I was glad when I saw it was a glued on piece--- must be like the painters of old who put deliberate bugs in their paintings as symbols... Seriously, though, by contrast the beautiful is more intense --

As far as the pink it might be from the digital paper. I have encountered various colors like that too. Love it!!!! ❤️🥰

I found out in the meantime it comes out like that on photo paper and it’s different with each oxide color!

@@49dragonflies yes, I can see that happening. I don't use photo paper, just heavy quality copy paper but I think it is just the various color inks on the print-outs. I like what has come out though so that is a plus! LOL! 🥰😍

Also für mich sieht es aus, als hätte das Oxide die Farbe von deinem gedruckten Digital angelöst… könnte das Magenta der Druckerpatrone sein. Ist nur eine Vermutung! ☺️ Ich finde die Seiten toll und dieses „exotische“ Frauengesicht mit Schmetterling- und Blumenschmuck macht Sommerlaune ☀️🥂… Liebe Grüße Nicole K.

I wonder if it was the papers that caused the ink to do that? I’m glad I’m not the only one that gets paint on pages other than what I’m working on! I just think-thank goodness it’s a JUNK journal! 😉

My tablet doesn't display any of the pink effect you mention on the oxyde blu!.... With spray inks, it's rare to get a spray nozzle that has de ent quality... Maybe a better strategy could be to spray onto a piece of plastic film, wax paper or some other non-porous but flexible substrate, then apply that substrate to the journal ? This has the advantage of allowing for adjustments to the ink sprayed - simple dragging the ink to better distribute blobs, or making smaller blobs, etc :-)

I’m so glad you used this beautiful lady in your fun Planner. I love the napkins Honey gave you. The big sheet of leaves looked black every once in a while. Then the gold would flash us. That corner needed those leaves. I kept waiting for you to do 3 leaves though. Lol. I was so nervous when you took out the blue spray. But this time it worked beautifully with the stencil. I got 2 of these Sprays like your Gold spray last week. I got “Copper Buff” and “Honey”. Amazon has tons of colors!! Can’t wait to get more.

The pink must have come out of your stencil… perhaps you used pink on it before😀

The best guess I have for why heat activated some pink in the oxide on one page, and not on the other has to do with the printing on the page that ended up with the pink outline. Your oxide may be reacting with some of the chemicals in the inks used by your printer. The page with the numbers most likely used inks used on a printing press, which will be very different in composition to the inks for your printer - if I was to guess, it's going to have carbon as its primary colorant, where your printer most likely uses lots of synthetic colors.
