How is this so different from the New Living Translation text I have?

The new living translation was updated. This is the original version. Which I love myself. However you will see, the meanings are the same. This a translation of meaning not a word for word like others. So sometimes, right or wrong, they try to clarify

@@user-vc1qi6qv3m I understand it is a phrase by phrase translation. I am just surprised the updated version of the NLT varies so widely from the original!

@@Lisa-my-friend I don’t like that either. Another reason is these audios follow the original. There are some later audios. But I am attached to these because it was in listening to these, I became a Christian.

Maybe not exactly. But, I enjoy this reading. ♡ I hope YOU received some warmth and direction from your time spent listening. Nothing you do in connection with The Good News is in vain.
