Yeah, they all died and his machine shop get destroyed by lings. Also mutas probably would have just killed them. Day9 was on another level here. After the guardians killed the barracks the game was pretty much over, because without marines, Artosis had no way to stop Day9 from droning up like crazy, and if a zerg gets to do that....you lose, you just, lose. Sauron zerg is unbeatable.

@@FalconPaladin I play Magic the gathering and saw some of day9s video's. He is good, but I don't like the way he talks about his opponent, especially when he loses. Maybe I've just been unlucky with the casts, though. Still, a great BW player. Like Idra. Don't like his rage, love seeing his skill at BW.

@@tomhill3248 It wasn't rage. Just a mild form of sore loserness (that's a word now). Weird thing is: I watch CGB and that guy complains all the time when he loses. He does explain everything he does, which I really like.

@@FalconPaladin how old are you falcon? I started playing StarCraft when I was like 10 or 11 so around 2003~ I only wish I had played consistently... I watch WAY more than I play but I am actually pretty decent when I do play. If I could just get myself to play more instead of 1 or 2 games then go back to watching I could be a pretty good player. 🤷🏻‍♂️

What happened to him? Why did he almost die?

@@magnum333 In college he thought that he had a super power by being able to stay up all night and get lots of extra work done. But after a while it starting adding up and taking its toll. After one particular all nighter before a school presentation the next day, where he drank some wine, he said that he felt so bad that he thought he almost died but then he had to record the day9 daily episode anyway because he couldn't let his fans down. He talks about this in one of the episodes. But he doesn't say which one is the one that was videoed after he thought he almost died and was a mess because he doesn't want anybody to see it obviously.

having finished the game, that was a fairly shitty set of zerg decision making especially at the end. it was a fun cast though! keep up all the good work :)

Yeah I sort of think Day[9] was just messing around towards the end because Artosis was DED. Glad to enjoyed the cast!

Tucking four units into a bunker is nice but I suppose it doesn't make much practical difference when his situation most of the time is that he's manouvering about 20-30 of them around in a single death ball, using stim packs, with medics to support. He had it walled of with his units for a long time, which does the same as a bunker, but is free. I think the lings got through from the right side of the ramp because of their speed upgrade and poor positioning of the death ball. 🤔✌

The base was mostly destroyed by flyers, for the first 15+ minutes. It was over, the flyers didn't even need to care about the ramp. 6 mutas can pick off an scv trying to build a late bunker in one shot.

Ultralisks & Lings & Dark Swarm defeat bunker in seconds, and that was the main ground attack that finally happened at 16:30, after so much harassment from air. 🤔

against mutas? The game was pretty much over after the guardians followed by the zergling rush. Without production there wasn't a lot Artosis could do. Most pros would have tapped out right there.
