Yoga teacher here! In forward fold position-inhale as you stretch your spine, then imagine the weight of your exhale lowering you closer to the Earth. Yoga is about the connection between mind and body, and it’s fascinating how much we can accomplish by just picturing it in our minds.

I never exercised continuously throughout my life and spring of 2018 I finally did begin to do physical workouts everyday. I had in the past however I never stayed with it. Before working out, I could barely pass my knees when stretching to the floor. But now, after a year, no stretching or yoga, just exercising, I am able to place both hands on the floor! Above losing weight and becoming stronger, I think being able to touch the floor has been my biggest achievement haha 😂😂💕 you can do it!

Jenn, I'm so glad you acknowledged our role in the sustainability of our planet. I'm vegetarian myself but try to reduce my dairy and egg intakes so am not vegan. I don't think diet and lifestyle can be so black and white. If everyone reduces just a little bit that's all we need! :)
