In the US, we drink pickle juice to help ease cramps from drinking too much water. Some would argue is doesnt do anything, but its a tradition. So when in Rome….

@@Buzzalong.cyclingdon’t believe it. Too much to unpack here. Drinking too much water gives you cramps?? Lol never heard that before. Pickle juice is not a tradition. You will never see people drinking pickle juice on group rides. Some organized events may provide it at rest stops, but not all. Definitely not a tradition.

In the last stage it's not Güejar. That area it's called Los Guájares because of the name of the towns (Guajar Alto, Guájar Faragüit and Guájar Fondón).

Yes....but it loose rocks in the upper parts of the south side with kms of hike a bike. Much easier to ascend the north side and descend the south side. Minimum a gravel bike but better on a front suspension mountain bike
