An old boyfriend told me to keep wheat Pennie’s which I have done for the past 50 years. One day I was walking into work, I found a penny and slipped it into my pocket. At work I opened the till drawer and saw a weird penny, so I bought it with the penny in my pocket. It was an 1871 penny that was worth around $7.00 at that time. I was so glad to have picked up that penny I found.

PS don't broadcast it here the boss might see it and call foul like I told the guy at the dump garbage sorting plant. . .he boasted and posted the seven hundred dollars he found. . .of FB I told him to watch that shit and he said ohhhhh the boss knows and the company don't care the boss got his cut cause there was more money and I got to keep that. . . @8:02 As soon as he said "a gold penny" I knew it was going to be what I call a "Brassy '83" -- for some reason that brassy tone is common in 1983 pennies. Not sure why. You sometimes see it in other years but it is mostly a 1983 phenomenon. Since they switched over to zinc partway through '82 I assume they were still experimenting with their production methods in '83 leading to a lot of those brassy 83's.

A suggestion that I use on nickels that doesnt damage the coin.. A qtip and white vinegar.. Works great on the no date buffaloes and will not damage condition.. Love your channel.. God bless you..

12:33 you had a 2004 peace time nickel that you should check for doubleing. They can be worth a lot

I was going thru my uncle’s “no date” Buffalo Nickels, and found two that were clearly Type 1. So even tho you can’t read the date on the front they are def. 1913 (no MM for sure on one; on the other the lower part of the FIVE CENTS is worn pretty flat so there might have been a MM below but I’d need Nic-a-Date to find out). No idea what that would mean to anyone but me, but I think it’s cool.

Personally I'm confused one says no fs is worthless... Ex. My 39 no fs with ddr Monticello. Yet utube guys say" ding ding winner!" The prices on utube are absolutely opposite of real life prices. Idk. Bout burnt out tottin years of change I Kant find a dealer that buys anything, especially silver .that's all they want. I'm disappointed big-time in a hobby I'm in wholeheartedly
