Saturday, Nov. 19th, 2022, will go down as one of those days we dream of for field work. Aboard vessel Miss Texas with Captain Yeyo, mates Didario and Ligorio as well as Jessica Harvey, we found a large tree with heaps of life and tagged and released 30 large gaffer dolphin in six hours of tagging activity. A large gaffer was tagged and released every 12 minutes as we drifted with the structure. A total of 6 satellite tags and a camera tag were deployed among the fish ranging in size from 34-49" fork-length.
