I cannot see any negative as to why you shouldn’t sell your items. I am devastated that you are selling on Poshmark as it’s USA/Canada only 😱😱 In my opinion, you should be selling them for more. I definitely don’t see a problem with the mystery boxes, the only advice I have is to maybe make them themed such as princesses, toy story, etc..

I can totally see why you would be nervous about how people might react to selling items you got for free. And that was definitely my initial thought too, however after you explained your plan I feel like it’s totally fair. As long as you are selling them at a bargain and giving people a great deal, AND incorporating some items that were not gifted to you, I think it’s a perfect solution! But yes, if you were just selling individual gifted items it might be a little different, but the fact that it’s more of a mystery box with some items that were bought, I think it’s a great idea. 😊 Also as you mentioned, even though you didn’t pay for the items out of pocket, they weren’t entirely “free,” since you still filmed and edited a video providing advertising for the company in exchange for the items.

Definitely sell them on Poshmark and do a giveaway for one of them for those who watched this video :)

You paid for a lot of those items with your own money and the items that you received for free, you still put time and effort into filming, editing, and uploading a video (and also posting to your Instagram stories because I know you do that a lot too!) As a mom of 2 boys and the 4 of us live with my in-laws, I totally understand the need to declutter. There is only so much space you can put things. I vote that you should sell what you can. Also I shop all year for birthday and Christmas gifts so I will be checking out your postmark site next week hoping to get a box. We love your videos. I definitely think you should make them. A lot of people who watch may not have had the opportunity to go to Disneyland and have always wanted to. Maybe their parents are working full time and they aren't able to take off work for vacation. Maybe they are college students who can't miss classes. Maybe their family just doesn't have the money for it becuase it can be pricey. So for those people who weren't able to go, it would be a little piece of the dream coming true. They would be able to cherish them and thank you for the little experiences through the items that you put in the box. You would be making a lot of peoples days.

Girl it’s your stuff! I’d def buy them and be happy the money went to a nice family with a baby like yours. You’re a teacher during this craziness and you’re still finding time to make videos while you raise a baby, it’s your stuff and you can do what you see fit with it. Regardless of if you paid for the specific items or if you were given them, you promoted those companies and once they send you the boxes, they’re your boxes. I don’t have a problem with you making a profit off of them whatsoever. Your videos take time and effort, you earned it, and whatever you want to do with them is your choice. My favorite Disney movie is beauty and the beast and lilo & stitch I'd love to go to Disney but we cancelled our trip in October and I plan to go in December 2021 solo as long things are normal. No mask and all the fun stuff back. I was 1 when I went for the first time it's as amazing now as it was then. I vote selling your items. It'll brighten people's lives right now and they need it.

To be honest, I was really hesitant at first, because you were selling things that you got for free , but after you explained yourself, like a fellow commoner said, about these being mystery boxes that you half paid for, I can definitely understand more of where you’re coming from. Especially after I considered how much time and effort goes into producing a KZfaq channel. You probably even put some money into it, All of which we are probably pretty Unaware of, and you are producing free content for us, which I love, and which we all appreciate! Personally , if I got some items for free from subscription boxes, I don’t know if I would feel comfortable selling them, but I don’t have a KZfaq channel… And you are being honest and upfront and I really appreciate it. It shows integrity,! Which again I appreciate! I don’t know if it’s something I agree with or not, largely because I don’t know the specifics of your situation, and I don’t want to judge… It’s not my place. but I don’t think you’re doing anything morally wrong, especially because of the time and effort you’re putting into a KZfaq channel, even if you did get some of the items for free. And you’re being honest and upfront about that, which is the most important thing. I think, if people are into mystery boxes, Then that is great, but if maybe if someone wants a specific thing or things, and doesn’t want other things, that would be the only thing I would be concerned about. What if someone got something in a mystery box that they paid for, but they didn’t really want? It’s my only worry …Because some of the items were given to you. But if people would love everything they get, I wouldn’t be nearly as concerned. I would gently suggest maybe being open to selling certain items to people who request them? Maybe you could give a box away for free as a giveaway? My only hesitancy is the fact that some of these items were free for you, Again I don’t have a KZfaq channel. I think we live in a time where everyone is criticized and canceled over things (sometimes rightfully so but other times not) and that may be why you’re nervous to do this. What you’re doing is 100% fine and actually gives your viewers an opportunity to have something they may have never been able to have before (limited edition or sold out items for example). I’ve seen a couple comments saying that you should donate all your earnings from Poshmark and I think they’re completely missing the idea. You did a service for a company and should be compensated. Every other KZfaqr is but because you’re kind and open to others, this has allowed for people to give their whole “well if it was me, I’d give the money to everyone and blah blah blah”. It’s always easier to say what you WOULD do than actually do it, so I wouldn’t take their comments too seriously. Good luck with poshmark!! ❤️

I think it's perfectly ok to sell the stuff. It's YOUR stuff now. If you had done this privately, like a garage sale, no one would have even known. And quite frankly, it's nobody's business what you do with your stuff or how you chose to make money. I think it's wonderful that you are choosing to sell these for a really fair price to your youtube family who also loves Disney. This might be the perfect opportunity for someone with a low income to get their hands on some quality Disney stuff that the couldn't afford otherwise. Good on you girl.

Yes :) please Put these up. I want to get this so badly for the two girls I nanny... one has a muscular issue. She’s 3 and the sister is 5. They probably won’t be able to go anytime soon, to Disney world. But, Alison, we love you and we support you 100%. I can’t see why people would be upset or mad about this! I appreciate your full honesty on this. I totally think you should sell your items. It’s no different than anyone selling their overstock and clutter at a garage sale. Of course if you decide let us all know I am so interested in some of those items.
