Han is such an underrated character... this fight is one of my favourite of the series.
@vguyver2Ай бұрын
I always felt he should have been the final villain in this time skip, he's very different from the majority of the enemies as he's got an air of sophistication and an indifference to the attempted assassinations against him that the others lacked. As a kid was was genuinely frustrated with how much everything felt recycled from the first series but Han was the exception along with Ein who was likable enough. Plot wise we instead we ended up with shallower Raoh 2.0 who was utterly boring to me. Then there is Kenshiro's bother who is a hollowed husk plot idea as if he's a Toki stand in who may also been amazing and seemed to have a bond with Han, but instead was practically used more as a plot device instead of a genuine character with any real depth. Even Rei had a lesser cloned character here while Falco should have stuck around much longer and instead was wasted so early on.
@TornioToriniАй бұрын
@@vguyver2 In my humble opinion the "second season" (after Raoh's death) has better fights, but the plots are much weaker in my opinion. And since the Han's saga is just "let's face Han and fight straight for three episodes" it becomes one of the best. I also enjoyed a lot the Hio's saga, while the Gento fighter have so many cool techniques, but almost no personality, and that's a shame. "Raoh's brother" is one of the worst plot twist in the saga, at least the fight was cool. Despite all of this, I grew with this anime and I still absolutely love it.
@memberofchat282523 күн бұрын
@@vguyver2 fist of the north star was meant to end with raoh but as it happens with many mangas, it was too popular to end it so they made them keep going for another 2 years, the three arc they didnt adapt in the anime, while not bad they felt so out of place after the final fight with kaioh, the final bad guy is just some random dude that survived kenshiro's hokuto shinken and its looking for revenge.
@TheOpinionatedPerson11 жыл бұрын
To be fair, the Imperial Fist had anti Shinken techniques, and all the main villains in Asura were masters of Hokuto Ryuken, which was similar enough that they could anticipate or remedy having points struck. And Kenshiro does ultimately win this fight thanks to pressure points.
