Kenny is playing the electric guitar. He's quite good. He's basically a blues player, but can delve into rock. This song does have a bit of country in it, I'd say. Never thought of that before. As for other artists who wail on guitar, try Jonny Lang's "Lie to Me" or Stevie Ray Vaughan's cover of "Voodoo Child" from his "Live at the El Mocambo" performance.

Since no one else is sayin it, Blue on Black think of the grey black flag with a blue stripe. Thers more to that picture than meets the eye. Like green porch lights are to show support for Deployed Military. Blue on Black- law Green on Black- military Red on Black- Fire Fighters Listen to the etherial words in other lines. Its like knowing the meaning of Tag or Graffitti Writing

Kenny Wayne Shepherd plays a version of this with Brent and Zack from Shinedown that I recommend. It's acoustic, but the vocals are much better in that version.
