Gee ample parking, fish cleaning station, and wholly f%#k a boat wash down .. All of us from Tassie are saying WTF is that.. how can one boat ramp have all those facilities, all in one.. Perhaps here in Tassie the local Councils and MAST may get together one day within the next 20yrs and we could have facilities like that..🤔 Wishful thinking that is...

It’s so crazy. So many ramps here have them! It blew my mind. Although you do need a saltwater license here. It would help a lot down in Tassie, but we’re always years behind.

@TascastFishing I would say here in Tassie, it's more like we're decades behind.. The more the fishing restrictions are enforced year by year with size limits etc, it's clear large recreational vessels are being purchased to venture further offshore, as the days of catching flatties 1/2 klm off the coast are over here in Tassie.. I get that it's sustainability of the species, but there are so many other great varieties to fish further out offshore but doing this in larger vessel has its challenges at alot of ramps in Tassie, especially on a busy long weekend .. The recreational boating facilities here in Tassie haven't really changed much since the turn of the century. Ya'd be able to count on one hand the total amount of actual decent ramps here in the whole state.. Either a half decent ramp with shit access, or good access with a shit ramp, the bean counters and traffic management engineer's have no idea and most likely have never owned a boat.. Sadly the local Councils and Marine And Safety Tas (MAST) don't really and never will give a shit.. But they're always keen to grab our money for licensing and rates.
