Everyone was probably expecting a 2 hour chillstep mix, but I was like "nahhhh, this time I'll do a 2 hour melodic dubstep and future bass mix". Some of these songs have been featured in the other mixes, but I simply loved them so much I decided to feature them here as well. And with this one we officially kick off another year on the channel. I have no idea what I expect this year, I'mma just try to upload stuff and see where it takes me. Thanks for all the wonderful support all these years. It's actually a bit insane how long this channel has been active now :P Here's to (hopefully) a few more years

I actually want to thank you for putting in the effort of making these playlists. I used to listen to the 2015 epic chillstep collection when my father was passing away from lung cancer. That mix brought me so much comfort and hope. And yeah, I know a lot of that credit goes to the artists themselves for making the music, but I am so grateful to you for putting that mix together, uploading it, and making that mix available to me and so many others. These past two years have been tough on everyone, and I know that there is hope because of people like you. So keep on keeping on. You're an absolute gift to this world. I hope your day and everyone else's year goes well.

I'm sorry for your loss, but your not alone, iv used these mixes for my witch craft (non-dark magic) I do hope in time you heal and from one very spiritual person like so many others out there these mixes released me from the chain that kept me in the dark and I found sonthibg else to believe in peace out and I hope your intire family are well

My eyes were opened this summer to this subgenre. I've been away from listening to EDM for like 5-8 years. I never knew this sound existed, and my friend took me to a Nurko show and my mind was BLOWN. I've been exclusively listening to melodic dubstep/future bass since then. Not the biggest fan of straight up dubstep, but when people like Slander, Seven Lions, Trivecta, etc insert a dubstep section/drop, my mind melts and it just hits SO much harder than just a full on dubstep song. Needless to say, I've gone to two festivals so far and third one will be coming this new years eve weekend. I get why people go to festivals now lol.

Its so crazy to me that like just 3 years ago I was bumping mumble rap and always talking like "yeah I'm not a big EDM fan I like some Calvin Harris though." Fast forward a little and I've now unlocked what seems like a bottomless well of incredible music that makes me feel so many emotions good and bad, so much more than any other type of music can. I'm into everything from deep dubstep, to liquid DnB now theres something for every single mood. Melodic dubstep though stays the favorite this subgenre of EDM is the single most amazing thing my ears have ever experienced. Crazy it all started when my friend convinced me to come to an Illenium concert, it was my first rave, at red rocks, and now I'm addicted. This/these communities of people are so positive and fun and its absolutely changed my life for the better. Randy, Max, Topher, Ben, Lindsey, Kat, Amelia, and everyone else I've met along the way you guys are my best friends in the world and I'm so grateful for what you've shown me both in music and in life, thank you. And whoever else is reading this I hope you have a wonderful day.

I used to be strictly rock/metal. My friend convinced me to go with her this summer to a Nurko show and that was it. 2 festivals in, Wooli later this month, and then Countdown for NYE. I'm literally all in on this music. It hits harder than any other genre in my opinion, especially when they have a dubstep section/drop. Sooooo freakin good.

Similar here man, I was into pop and reggaeton mostly. Suddenly I discovered Illenium 5 years ago in 2017. Since then... still, the most beautiful thing I ever experienced is so deep and melancholic and hopeful and sad and every emotion at the same time that I can not even describe it, fall for it forever.

This music might be not for everyone in this world, but this electronic music is the savior to us, this genre makes our hearts free. So many stories that we can share with this kind of music. Maybe this time we are not as good as all the artists in the mix do, but we believe someday we can spread it to more people and bring more colors too. Every time we are stuck making something we search for some references and arctic empire is one of the most reliable places that we can draw any inspiration on. 2015 chillstep mix is legendary, but I love that you decide to just be yourself. My favorite music genre also changes so many times. Chillstep, Trap, Future Bass, Lofi, Classical, Post Rock, Dreampop, Indie, even Phonk. I now love them all and can just appreciate the music regardless the type of them.

I had Autoplay active, was listening to Porter, then suddenly it dropped to dubstep, was a bit confused trying to guess the channel without change tabs, but when the drop kicked, I knew it had to be Arctic. Amazing as always, your guys keep impressing even before the Coming Home Trilogy
