This old school bus has been converted into an epic tiny house! Designed to be completely off-the-grid, this stunning home on wheels is ready to go anywhere. If you enjoy our videos, please consider supporting us on Patreon: / livingbig
Nicholas and Francesca made the decision to quit their old jobs and life in Chicago in order to dive full time into school bus living after being inspired by watching a documentary of another couple’s skoolie adventures.
Find out more about this tiny house and others on our website: www.livingbiginatinyhouse.com...
This school bus has been beautifully converted into a stunning home. Inside, it’s hard to tell that you’re even in a bus and the solar panels and water tanks allow for all the conveniences of home to be taken off-the-grid and on the road.
I hope you enjoy the full tour of this beautiful bus conversion. To follow Nicholas and Francesca’s adventures, be sure to check them out on Instagram: / happyhomebodies

the only thing that is missing (for my personal needs) is a washer/dryer. Some bus conversions I've seen do include that. I would use some kind of wall mounted heating system - freeing that floor space for a washer/dryer. Other than that this school bus conversion is stunning!

The fact the design is so open is great. With time they might even decide to add more in to those spaces if they felt it. This is something I would personally do myself, I wouldn't try to cram in a ton of stuff I MIGHT use, I would leave it all open as much as possible and only fit in exactly what I do need at the moment. Pretty much all I need is storage for electronics, multimedia and art supplies, the rest a decent sized kitchen like this and minimal clothes storage, preferably clothes that can be mixed and matched easily without looking too clashing. That's a very little amount of space, probably just slightly more than this design all things considered. Although as they say their selves, the wood stove is OTT for the space, which is true a lot of times. I would get a smaller wall-mounted one and that opens that huge corner space right up. Lot of flexibility in this kind of design where you try keep the majority of fixed bulky stuff on one side and keep simpler light and non-fixed objects on the other side. Tables, moving storage, seats and so on. Even better if they can collapse. Preferably on the opposite side to heavier storage such as water tanks just to keep the overall vehicle balanced. When you go to smaller sizes you need to make as much multi-functional space as you can, every little helps. A generic space like that can allow you to do so much more than if you had a bunch of stuff all cramped together and feel like navigating a maze through it.

I'm not 100% sure that would be crashworthy. You don't want clips coming at your face at that speed if/when you hit something. It tends to have unfortunate outcomes when the car DOES follow crash guidelines. My cousin broke every bone in her face in one accident.

And if they ever wanted to have kids and how they imagined it with kids? So many questions get unanswered in these videos.

I have watched nearly every video of Bryce’s and of all the schoolies he’s shown this one is of the top 10 for cozy and homey feels and so nicely decorated with THEIR things not just for show and or THE show. I liked that you could see the blue throughout the entire bus/home but you still knew that wasn’t the main focal point, same with the stone work, even though it was at the entrance of the home it was tastefully done throughout the home to tie it in. Very very nice home and the plan to do while you can is just brilliant. Keep doing the things you can do now because if you wait till you retire you won’t have the bodies you have now and will miss your opportunity to do the things that you love and are fit for now. Because even when you have the fittest bodies, age does a number on many things not just our ability to do or not do, so absolutely do the things you love now while you can.

These are my kind of people! Create a 10ft couch that folds out into an enormous bed for their three beautiful 🐕 🐶 dogs! Not to mention building a couch on the dashboard so their dogs can look out the window 😍🐶!I wonder what breed the curly haired dogs are- I have a rescue dog who looks very like them but have no idea what breed he is. Their giant dog is beautiful he looks kind of like a white St Bernard!

I love how big their shower is, most bus conversions either have a small one or none at all, like the other bus you featured here. This bus looks more spacious and clean. The other bus conversions I saw are cool outside but inside is a total mess. It's a PLUS to have a toilet and bath because you're able to travel wherever you want without the hassle of looking for a restroom on your next stop
