Can we just all have a moment to give respect to the pd 130/150 . A old 8v diesel that is a performance swap . Will blow the doors off most things , last for ever and still do 50mpg. Love them

This is right up my street being a proud owner of a very low mileage 1.9 PD 😁 It’s only a 100 but I’ve done the right thing, stuck a pd 130/150 inlet manifold on, egr delete, and of course a remap 👍🏼

Awesome Caddy. It sounds like mine. Mine is a Mk3 2k Caddy 1.9 (bls) with 6 speed DSG. The boost is awesome. Mine comes on at 1800 and I use the whole power band to keep everything clean.

I have a 95 nissan with nearly perfect paint and body because my dad bought it new and it never left our family. I would not paint my truck and if I had your truck I would not paint it either. It would strip some of its hard earned character.

Cool project, although he would likely benefit from mapping it as the standard map on a PD is not the best/smooth, remap = smoother power delivery, better fuel economy, more torque and power further up the revs etc. Not sure if a TT 225 or Vr6 quick rack fits those though, may be too wide.
