Epic Photography Locations, Lake District

I spend an afternoon at 2 epic locations for landscape photography in the Lake District. My images may not be epic but the locations do not disappoint.
I manage to capture a fair few images in between so enjoy the results.

Very good shots. The jetty use to be warped (due to rising water) and I always liked the shot. When they put the new one in they left part of the old one which put me off this composition, however the way you positioned it worked. The Rydal Tree is 2 miles from me and is not an easy composition due to the background so getting it just right is down to your technique, so you can give yourself a pat on the back. The rain has continued by the way so the becks are still in full flow.

Hi Rod..thanks mate. The Jetty has always been a tough one to shoot in my mind but it's always worth a crack when down that way. The old piece they left is an annoyance I agree. The lone tree...what can I say? Massive thanks for the compliment I really appreciate those kind words mate. I will be back up this week to hit those becks whether it's pouring or not. I want the Autumn colour on those ferns before it disappears for another year!

Beautiful stunning images as usual Karl, fantastic area to shoot. I see you shoot with D810 i still got mine but now use a Z7 11 for landscape. All the best Karl keep up your great work.

Thanks John. I have tried mirrorless but just prefer the dslr. Maybe one day I will switch but at the moment I'm happy with my setup. The Z7 is a great camera. 👍
