Poor Rundas 😭 His death hits me hardest in Prime 3. Almost up there with the baby Metroid, honestly. This is a great tribute and wonderful song.

Rundas was litterally a child at heart. His innocence in believing that good would win so easily was tragically naive. It’s why he was the first to die. It’s a nod to the horror of reality. Rundas was a hero until the end he even committed suicide via icicles so he would not be used to hurt his friends.

They should've kept Rundas alive till the Darsk Samus fight man maybe even keep him alive for another metroid game in the future, it still breaks my heart when I think of him dying seconds after regaining control, seeing him here in this video makes me feel even more guilt for beating him, may his brave warrior spirit rest in peace. Rundas was a true brother in arms🙏

I’ve been listening to Metroid Cinematica Recharged non-stop since it released publicly and this song is one of the standouts. Such a genius combination of Phendrana Drifts and the Rundas theme! This is truly the Definitive Edition of the album and I love all of the new tracks! I’ll be listening to it almost exclusively for the foreseeable future. Any updates on your Dreadful Symphony album? I feel the music from Metroid Dread is underrated and I’m excited to see what you can do with those themes!

This was already a beautiful rendition of Rundas’s theme but my goodness when you brought in the choral voices I got chills! This felt like such a saddening but bewitching track and you’re just so talented! I love the small animation we got at the beginning too! Wow 💜💫

My heart frozen with sadness, sorrow, depression for a 17 year old friend of mine who passed away earlier this year. He was the fire that kept my heart warm and full of happiness. Now that fire is…extinguished, has frozen over. I have never been the same since. Woulda been 18 years old a month or so after he…well you get the point. His passing hit me hard for someone as young as I. I’m not much older than he. I’m still processing the fact that he’s gone. dang, I am usually into techno,rock, And metal metroid versions. But this is magnificent.

Rundas is my favorite character after Samus and Ridley. His death is so sad. To this day I wonder if he purposely impaled himself to stop himself being controlled, or was it dark Samus for failing or just an accident, lost control of his powers from hypermode. Great music!

This song makes his death a lot more tragic . I believe Samus is very affected by his death cause during the Gandrayda fight ..when she turns to Rundas the camera pans to Samus' face as she closes her eyes and clinches her fist.

Metroid has I think one of the most rich fan bases. I love metroid, I love prime I love other m and all the 2d ones. The only one I don't love is hunters, gameplay wasn't it's strong suit.
