After months of rewrites, restarts, and reshoots... FINALLY IT IS DONE. The Caides 13 Video that was promised a long time ago if finally here. This is the hardest Hunt in Epic Seven in my opinion but the gear is well worth it. If you're wondering why you should farm it or how to get into farming it, this video has you covered. With 4 different teams fully broken down, there should be something here for everyone to get the gear they need to play the characters they want.
Before watching this, you should at least have some Speed Gear and possibly Rage gear. You can learn to farm those with these two guides:

Thank you so much for the help! Thanks to you I understood the machenics and could adjust what I needed. In the end I has Iseria, Tamarinne, Arbys and Brieg and I ended up finally gertting it!

For those who are curious, a non rage straze is 5050 atk and 325 cdmg. That's what I have been running on mine because I just happen to have 2 really good crit pieces with pure dps stats. I think I might switch tho if Caides gives me a good dps torrent helm (already have an unused dps torrent neck).

I have my clorina at 4400 attack 320 cdmg on rage pen and she doesnt have enough dmg to get through Caides in 3 hits even with target.. Shes on +30 ddj, singie is on watergun, laika is on basket I dont understand why its not working

Hey, you mentioned it being a pain to have to switch out W.Schuri's gears just for this hunt. You think Midnight Gala Lilias can substitute in his stead to kill the Symaqus in the Straze One shot? Or will her kit have trouble, like her CR push messing up rotation and/or her S1 next turn wont be able to clean up unlike W.Schuri's S2?

I actually use the same elphelt one-shot but with some minor differences. My elphelt is on speed/pen instead of rage, and has 3.4k atk, 308 cdmg, with roughly the same states everywhere else in the video. She's also S imprint to help with everyone else's dmg. My w.schuri is on destruction set instead of speed, and has 3.3k atk, max crit rate and cdmg, and roughly the same stats everywhere else in the vid. He's SSS self imprint to help with the crit rate. My Straze is on rage/crit instead of torrent, and has 4.6k atk, 349 cdmg, and 116 speed. It was such a relief when it all worked out and one-shot the boss.

I'm without iseria and without singelica. still struggling with my team: Clorina, camilla, Wanderer Silk + any soulweaver gives me 30% success. I havent tried with camilla skill turned of yet, maybe it helps

Okay. Need to do caides one shot team now. I have Violet, SC Helga, SC Rikoris and Tamarinne for my standard team.

I copied the stats of the iseria tam cermia violet team, didnt work after 5 tries as they just die, tried with roana same sh. It'd be nice if there was actual testing if your going to use precise stats like that.

I think there is a team where you can oneshot the first boss with wschuri without depending on def break no?

Yes there is. The Straze team uses WSchuri to do that and if you want to borrow that build for a different team you can. I went with these 4 teams in this video as they're the 4 most varied and easiest to understand. The first several drafts of this video had like... 8 teams. That resulted in a video that would've been nearly 2 hours if I broke it all down in depth. With Divine, I was able to narrow it down to the 4 most important teams and give you the simplest path forward to clearing the hunt effectively.

The team I was thinking of was Roana, Camille, LP Karin and AOL Angelica. I have been building them anyway so I thought that could maybe be a good combination? The reason I thought it could be good is because of Roana's heal on extra attacks, Camille having dual attack and def break on S1 after S2, LP Karin just being fast enough to cycle a lot (I don't know if mine is good enough yet but I have her at 253 speed iirc) and AOL Angelica for cleansing on AOE and skill nullifier. It maybe isn't the best combination I don't know, I took over a years break from the game and am only just getting back into it, so I've probably forgot about some things that could work well. I do however have the units you mentioned in the video, I've just so far not been able to build a good enough team with what I have. My main issue is probably my builds, some of my units are around 150k power, but I'd say most of them hover between 110 and 120k, so I'm trying to carefully go through what I have and mess around with what I have equipped. With what I suggested, what would you say in regards to that composition or would you think for the most part it could work but maybe substituting one of them? Lmk, like I said I do have a fair amount of units, many 5 stars and a good amount of ML 5 stars

so why no ancient sheath?. The damage based off hp is reduced for Caides Hunt so things like DDJ i feel get out performed by Sheath for your lorina and Camilla

Building my Caides one-shot team was one of my proudest accomplishments in my too long E7 journey. I used all my slates on Elphelt but it was worth it in the end. Watching those first few successful runs felt so good. Also, regarding your note about 19 minutes in, the 2x battle speed is absolutely not 2x. Smilegate never said it was, they never gave any hard number, but from my own testing it appears to be about 1.2x speed overall. But another excellent video, you've done it again.

I had tried it b4 but honestly hell cutter only good if your straze stat is lacking or even if your stat is good, hell cutter need at least 8 stack or more to be outdmg the ddj from what I see but with my 1shot comp he only get 4 stack and do less dmg compare to when he has ddj

for the clorina/singie/iseria/camila team would i be able to use tama in place of singie?

I'm not sure it would work although I haven't tested it. The progression of the fight in my head would play out as such: Iseria Def Break => Sinful Buffs => Camilla S1 with Dual Attack => Lorina S1 => Iseria Resets Sinful => Sinful Buffs to give Camilla & Lorina Attack buff again. With Tamarinne it would go as such: Iseria Def Break => Tamarinne S1 => Camilla S1 with no Dual Attack => Lorina S1 => Iseria Reset Tamarinne => Tamarinne Buffs => Camilla S1... and then when you get to Caides the buffs wouldn't line up correctly again and you'd be Restricted/Slowed. I think if you're going for Tamarinne, it's best to stick with something like the first team.

U can get clorina for free though :v if u don't have them u will have to used totally different team. No unit has the same utility as iseria or kit focused as clorina

Going with the stable team, the boss and mobs focus down my lorina everytime and dont attack sinful at all. Anything I can do about that?

Lorina has no way to reset Danger. If she's dying before you clear the boss, it means Lorina doesn't have enough damage to finish the fight before it becomes an issue.

@@im_Tsu Thanks for responding. I realized my issue was actually my Singelica and camilla being too fast. The boss would end up stripping attack buff and leave the slow on everyone.

For the Lorina OneShot, is there someone i could use instead of Laika? I dont have her unfortunately

Anything that can provide comparable damage to Laika's S2 Target + Lorina dual attack would work. What that is, I'm not sure. Maybe Watcher Schuri? Whatever it is it'd need to be slower than Angelica most likely.

If you do the team starts to morph into the Furious team. You need Elphelt for her Break plus Attack Buff for Schuri.

You're basically going for the Furious team at that point, replacing Lorina with Straze and possibly Command Model Laika with a Wyvern 13 One Shot Sigret. You could use Iseria...but she'd look exactly like Furious in the first team and your Sinful Angelica would need to be base Speed on Warhorn.... which is a sacrifice I don't think you can make if you play PvP. I went with Elphelt as it's the cleanest, easiest option. Did you not grab Elphelt during the last Rerun of GG last month?

But why? She's free for all players. None of her upgrades cost Molagora. She's pretty much the only Max HP Percentage Single Target DPS in the game for this type of content. There's no reason to not play her & there's pretty much no one that does what she does. If I had to pick someone else... Luna? But that doesn't feel anywhere near as good.

i built the "stable" team but if both Iseria and Camille miss that first DEF break on caides the run always fails. i even have ms confile on Iseria. Camille and Iseria both have over 70% eff also. camilla skills are off. idk why they miss the def break so much on caides its weird. you cant just sub Furious in for Iseria?

That's how it is, unfortunately. Epic Seven, as a game, has a 15% chance to fail every debuff. Unless you're playing a One Shot that doesn't require a Debuff or it ignores ER (Like Blue Chloe on Banshee 13), the best you can hope for is 85% clear rate on average. You'll sometimes get higher clears than this. You'll sometimes get worse than this. It's just law of averages. You could try Furious if you want but I don't think it changes much, assuming both Iseria & Furious are 100% Defense break.

@@im_Tsu thx for the response. at least i know now its just the way it is. def break def seems to miss way more on caides than wyvern for sure. i may eventually try to one shot so dont have to stress about def break. thats one thing better about summoners war there are so many more def break options and way less chance of it missing

For a one shot? No, not really. There's not too many characters in the game with 100% Defense pen. Maybe Hwayoung? I've never even tried that though. And would her S1 even do enough damage post Straze like Schuri?
