Every "Fix It" Friday, inevitably someone submits a character with gear on it that makes me recoil. So many amazing pieces of equipment destroyed... I made this video to stop that. Please... I'm begging you!

Appreciate the video! I always end up stressing myself out re gearing half of my roster whenever we have a free unequip event. What's your opinion on Effect resistant Rings over HealthRings? Been on a Bruiser Build with Ravi, Blood Moon Haste and the Great Mortilix

I had no idea people were doing this. It was immediately obvious to me that the system was designed for you to take a undesirable stat and slightly improve gear. E7 has so many diverse builds and units that if that gear was truly good, you will eventually find a place for it somewhere. The gear storage is where I keep my oddball pieces. Like my ER ring with near perfect damage subs on pen. Someday that will be useful and honestly thinking about it now(got it 2 years ago). I might be able to make a ER Jenua build with that one.

I have a quad roll effectiveness defense set armor. The gear score is high, but i never use it. Benched gear for a benched hero, I guess.

In the end of the day, this is a gear gacha game, not a character gacha game, gear matters so much more, you're going to get all the characters long term anyway excluding ml5 which requires a bit of wallet to do so

I once had a 40% effres (destruction) changed to just 11speed. From 100+ equip score to 70+ 😂

"there always caveats in E7" sure is a great way to summarize how frustrating the game can be anytime they put in new QoL. I don't think a single feature popped in that wasn't either overhauled after weeks of complaints, or otherwise had some monkey's paw to it to overall make it feel worse than it should have.

What???? You can extract lesser modification gems and convert them to greater modification gems? Wow... I never knew this.... I just always had a ton of lesser mod gems lying around all the time because I didn't have any use for them....

Learn it the hard way by giving up 38% eff res gear for 11 speed. Feel Garbo to this day and now I never modified stat with any roll in it

@im_Tsu yeah, if you really want to know, my analysis on why it looks so good is that it really creats an arch at the eyebrows that covers the entire arch of the eyes, and the thinner frame and lack of bottom reduces the presence of the glasses it self, it's just like sticking a pair of perfect eyebrows from a handsome guy onto your face, I myself wear a brow-shaped glasses too, just mine is much heavier XD lol, thick frames, I wanna try something like what your rocking right now too someday^^, they look so much better than the old pair they made your face look broader than it is, not as sharp, new pairs fits your face shape really nicely^^

the randomness of combat just makes gear score completely irrelevant. it's trying to over simplify an already simple system. the sum of gear score should not be a goal. your builds should be based on the character you're building for the type of content. example you don't want a high gear score ran, you want a high speed ran who can strip and apply debuffs first turn, any stats after that are simply icing...
