Like, there are people who genuinely have no clue who else will be experienced through the suitors pov, and may not be able to guess from context clues, and their reactions will be great. Not only that, but based on a song he has decided to put after the suitors end makes me wonder if i even know who it is, or if he has an incredible M. Night Shamalien twist for me. (If its a twist, my guess is that the dog is immortal in this timeline and went for one the suitors most important possession.)

Most people say that Odysseus telling his name to the cyclops was hubris or vanity, but the musical shows it was indignation. He was a king, and his men were warriors, but they'd just been treated like livestock. Odysseus was saying, we're men, we have names, and I'll make sure you don't forget. Foolish but just.
