Being inquisitive, I had to look up the specific geological process that formed the "Chocolate Hills". Very cool. Waterfall was very neat as well.

my favorite part of the videos besides the obvious locations, food, adventure, blah blah blah, is when the camera goes into the water and the music gets muffled as well, find myself getting excited about new videos, keep it up, makes my work days that much brighter knowing there is so much adventure out there.

Hi! I’m new here and I just saw this vlog on my home page. I’m from Baclayon and the barbecue here is awesome i tell you, every night there’s a barbecue going on at the side of the tennis court and its delish. Hope u loved Bohol

A couple Bohol destinations you missed are the Loboc river cruise (try to hit it for the noon lunch buffet cruise), and there is a wonderful butterfly sanctuary (you'll find many of these around the Phils, the one in Bohol is the best I've seen), finally - you can visit a tarsier monkey preserve - those little guys are so darn cute!

If you guys are going back to Philippines someday, I recommend going up north like Tagaytay, Baguio, Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Norte, or even Batanes.

Haven't visited Pangas Falls, maybe next time, but I can't forget the really cool breeze in the man-made forest with giant Mahogany trees. Chocolate Hills spot is awesome, yeah, a lot of tourists visit there. Thanks a lot! 💟

Just discovered your videos and after watching a few I subscribed your channel. I truly enjoy your positive and negative comments and still have a smiling happy look. The last few times we visited Dumaguete (via Mactan Airport) we didn’t get to see much of Cebu. We will be visiting again this March 2019 and after looking at your videos, we will reserve a few days in Cebu, Bohol and definitely the island of Panglao. Was that yellow car a taxi or Grab? Or did you have that booked before reaching Bohol? Will there be a lot of transportation when we get to Bohol? Have a safe and happy travels and keep posting.

One Journal of course NO dear... because the local government reminds them already , all vehicles should not drive fast , every locals knows already that this place is a tourist spot. . You should visit too ..so you will know what I'm talking about. . But maybe if your in Manila area then , possibly can happen. NO DOUBT 😂 🤗😍EXPLORE NEW THINGS CAN GIVES YOU CHALLENGES.. there are lots of boat in Alona Beach...and some areas are not clean...you should have gone to Dumaluan Beach...its longer wider cleaner white sandy beach in Panglao...well maintained...divided with public and private resorts..anyway...when you see it there...you will appreciate..true nature of beach...just like the new Boracay...Dumaluan..Beach..The Best in Panglao ...Bohol.

We organized it through our hostel, although there are tons of car hire places all around Panglao (and I'm sure on Bohol as well) 👍

Hi Maam, I'm a filipino and I recommend these beautiful islands that my country has to offer: Palawan (El Nido and Coron) Bohol Island Cebu Island Davao (One of the safest cities in whole of the Philippines) Butuan (Not really that popular among tourist but if you're into heritage tourism this is the one for you and it's my hometown btw hehe) But there's more that my country has to offer just search it up on google or the site named "Choose Philippines"

Chocolate hills.....sigh... When I was 12 we played one of those dull end of the school term games: name a (animal, capital city, actor...) beginning with A, (next person) B etc... It was mountains, I was C. I was not good at geography. I took a sneaky look at the map near me on the wall and saw the Chocolate mountains (HOW COOL!!). When it got to me I said proudly. CHOCOLATE MOUNTAINS, whole class laughed, teacher said I was making it up, looked again at the map to show them and couldn’t find again where I’d seen them. Thought I’d imagined it. Felt such a fool. Doubted myself. About 10 years later, reading a National Geographic I saw them again!!! They’re real!! I’m not mad. Nearly emailed that teacher. She was such a cow. And clearly not very good at geography either 😜

How much to rent the car/driver? We're going there in a couple of months

We paid 2000php for 8 hours (a little less than $40usd) and were able to create our own itinerary. We shopped around a bit and that was pretty much the going rate for a daily car hire. Surprisingly, it was actually cheaper to book a car with a driver than it was to rent one on our own! Hope you enjoy your time there! We only had the day in Bohol, but you could easily spend a week or more exploring :)
