Wow, the people who sent you that box were very generous and did an amazing job of picking the good stuff from over here. It always seems like the majority of things foreign countries buy from America are the candies/sweets no one really wants. I love watching you two because if you don't like something you don't criticize American products. You just simply state it's not your favorite and that you don't particularly care for it. Thank you for that. Can't wait for the next video.

Everything I've tried from the UK has been amazing. My favorites are Maltesers- which are way better than our Whoppers and I enjoy our Whoppers because I love the malt taste-the Cadbury hard shell Easter Egg candies, and the Cadbury Fruit & Nut bars. Anything Cadbury chocolate, actually. You all make the best chocolate. Our chocolate is okay, but not the best. Sometimes I think it's what you get used to. Russell Stovers makes really good chocolates. Hershey's, um, not so much. Anyway, looking forward to your next video.

Since you guys mentioned Maltesers I actually found a website that includes them in a box and I can’t wait to buy it :) I’m on a hunt for affordable boxes of foreign candies now thanks to these videos. I subbed when y’all gave Reese’s a 10/10 because that’s my ultimate go-to chocolate before 3 Musketeers :)

Since the US is the junk food capital of the world you could probably try snacks for years and never get to the end. One thing that is a big hit in the US is when the Girl Scouts start selling their cookies. I would send you guys one box of each of the top five, but they are only sold by the kids once a year (generally around the spring - March/April). The cookies are delicious (I could probably eat a whole sleeve of Thin Mints without thought!). Also, regarding another of your videos, you tried Nutter Butters and weren't that impressed, I can say that the Girl Scout's Do-Si-Dos are 100% better!!! Love your videos. 👍

greekess7 The junk food capital of the world? No. Stop being insulting. It’s a large country with a huge market-industrial complex, and therefore puts out a wide variety of cultural staples, has many regional cuisines, many different types of restaurants, from hundreds of Michelin-starred eateries all the way down to many fast food chains, and puts out a lot of different types of food stuffs, including wine, cheese, beer, chocolate, candy, and savory snacks of a variety of different qualities and kinds. America is a huge market. I’m really sick of people generalizing it and insulting it

Interesting enough, the town Hershey Pennsylvania in which the Chocolate Company there is a American Hockey League (AHL) (smaller than the National Hockey League(NHL)) call the Hershey Bears and so in the area Hershey sells chocolate bears. No crushers but The Hershey Bears. Side note, if you ever get on to the east coast of the US Hershey has an amusement park. You go into the town the whole place smells of chocolate, the street lights look like Hershey Kisses, it's a really cool place.

I live right next to Hershey, and 10/10 recommend! It is perfect for all ages, there is also a petting zoo, an inn/spa, delicious restaurants, butterfly/flower garden things, the park is so much fun, they even have chocolate shampoo/conditioner,body wash, and bars of soap and it smells like heaven. Sorry for the ramble but it is ligit a dream to be there, everything is amazing. (I am actually related to Milton Hershey, the maker- I am his grandaughter (a lot of greats before granddaughter lol)

American candy is in boxes because they were made originally as theatre food. This is so in Cinema, you can slowly slide down your snacks into your hand and enjoy the movie without any plastic or paper noise interrupting the other individuals watching the film. They are all still sold in theaters in America for this reason. By the way, Watchamacallit are my favorite candy bar.♥️

Wow, I didn’t even know that Sour Patch kids were made in a spicy flavor! I haven’t tried those yet! You’re right, in America we do have a lot of fruit punch flavored things but unfortunately I’m not too big a fan of them.

InTheKitchenWithKate That’s true as well! I’m not such a big fan of those either 😂 Now I have a question for you guys. As I said in my previous comment, I’m from America, and I’m going to England for the first time to visit some friends. What are your recommendations for some things that I absolutely have to try while I’m there? I would love to know!!

Lindsey Yip Try finding a Tesco and buy stuff there. They usually have all of the best stuff Britain has to offer. Also, make sure you have a full English breakfast at a hotel or something😋

Normal peanut butter cups! Don’t mess with perfection 😂 I will say I prefer the minis though! With so many different sweets and snacks I think it makes us Americans look so gluttonous, but no one I know eats this much candy lol I haven’t even tried probably 3/4 of all the stuff you’ve tried, you have literally eaten more American candy than I have living here 34 years! I don’t know who’s eating all this stuff that candy companies are making so many different variations of the classics 🧐 I stick to the original flavors because that’s what I grew up eating and I only ever eat these treats on a rare occasion that I want to feel nostalgic... I can’t remember the last time I had a chocolate bar and the last candy I ate was a Haribo mix that wasn’t even American 😂😂😂 I ALWAYS go for Haribo if I want gummy snacks, they are the best!
@ThisWithThem
@ThisWithThem 6 жыл бұрын
Haha 😂 Oh really!! I'll have to try the minis one time! Haha, i think its because America is such a big place it has so many different companies making things and so many people with different tastes they have to cater for! Haha no way!! Totally get that though. A lot of the times when I want to treat myself i will pick a fave chocolate bar so I can enjoy it! I love Haribo too!!

Zaps were my favorite candy in high school in the late 90's. They tasted like chewy Sweet Tarts but were bigger & more tangy. The ones on Amazon aren't the same according to reviews. I'm from the states.

The fish-shaped candies-called "Swedish Fish" because, well, they were Swedish and the fishing industry in Sweden was very large-were developed specifically for the U.S. and Canadian markets and proved almost immediately popular. Swedish Fish then became firmly entrenched in U.S. candy culture in the 1960s and '70s.

It's Cinnamon Toast Crunch. The Chunky bar used to be just one big square, biting through was a chore. Crush is a soft drink brand (orange and grape were the most common).

One thing I would love to see you guys do especially if you get any more oreos is to eat the oreos like we do there's three ways...... 1. Plain just eat them like you do.... 2. You twist them so one wafer side comes off you eat it and then kinda bite off the filling....then eat the other wafer.... And last.... 3 you need to dunk it in a glass of milk!! This is a must everyone as a kid always dunk their oreos obviously original is the best so chocolate with cream center..... best way is three fast dunks! Definitely think you should try it to realize the experience of how we eat them! ♡♡♡♡

Meg Gambill I love how people eat Oreos in different ways. You do three dunks, my cousin uses a fork, my friend takes a bite and then drinks milk, and I just keep it sitting in there for a good while.
