Nicely done. You are right it’s a rhythm thing and the mass effect is all that matters. Good book recommendation

Cheers Dom. The book is a worthwhile read, it's long, but extremely comprehensive.

Very nice! I think you have the cavalry bases dead right too. Much better than a long thin line. Good to see the project making such progress.

Thanks. It's coming to an end, just using the sprues I have. Will be good to have a force that can be used at the dinner table for quick throw down games

Great update and really good work. I really like the way you base your cavalry, maby I try it out too. Keep up the good work.👍

Thanks Nic. I'm following your projects with interest too, took a lot of inspiration from your TYW Swedes!

I also needed two regiments to get to grips with painting the pikes. 😄 Muskets were easier to paint and enjoy. The individual ones are really... tedious, you're right. I wonder, why you did choose the base size? 🤔

Yes, it takes a few to get broken into, but worth it once you get started. Base size is just my personal preference, I also like a chunky MDF base and the warlord plactic ones were just too thin for my liking.

Great job! Can you tell me what base size you went with? Also can you put the epic stuff into a play list? Thanks for sharing your work!

Cheers, bases are 60x40mm for shotte, 60x60mm for pike. 3mm thick
