Hi abdul. Don't worry about signing the EIF. When the notary interview starts they will unlock the document and you will be able to sign it right there and then.

Hi! I just completed the first stage of the epic verification. I got the mail to wait for 3 days. But I the image I uploaded of my passport doesn't have my address😢 I accidentally uploaded only the first page of my passport! Will there be a problem? 🙁

First page is fine. Even if they have an objection they will simply ask you to reupload so don't worry.

If there is any key information missing then they will simply reach out to you and tell you what's needed. It would be useful to know for everybody if there were any issues by not entering the PMC details.

Hi Dr. Wajih In the last step u have mentioned about tracking the progress of the verification by the university. Is it verified electronically or through paper mail? And is it verified by the university or by the medical school? Could you clear this up.

Well see it might be different for everyone depending on how your institution operates. In my case it was my medical colleague that verified it electronically. If you want to know how it is for yourself then it would be worth speaking to an admin person in your university about it.

Dear Dr, I just finished notarycam verification. When I came back to EPIC account and open my credentials, there is no upload options and it showed: you do not have a valid EPIC identification form on file. So I asked from chatbox to Notarycam verifying agent, she asked me to wait for 3 days.

If the degree was issued by the university themselves on their letter head with their stamp then I don't see why it wouldn't be acceptable. You can read about all their criteria on the following link: www.ecfmg.org/resources/english-translations.html#:~:text=Recommended%20Translation%20Service-,Translation%20Requirements,the%20document%20is%20not%20acceptable. If still in doubt you can give them a quick call to discuss your situation.

You can track the progress on your Epic Account. It will say when they have reached out to the uni. You can reach out to your uni at that point in time or earlier if you want to be proactive.

I simply uploaded the main page of my passport. It didn't have any latin chatacters on it. On their website, they show you what an acceptable upload looks like. Just scan according to the image they provided.

Don't worry. Once the notary interview begins they will unlock your EIF. And then ask you to sign. At that point you will type your name in. Just wait for the interview and it will all make sense then.

There should be an option to schedule a meeting right away. You can self schedule the meeting. There should be an option on the top right if I remember correctly.

Hi. They send your ID in an email with further instructions on how to complete the EIF. And they send your temporary logins in another email. Have you checked all your inboxes including junk?

Sir please. Note that if a degree is not in English .. after getting translation we don't have to combine it with the English one rather a separate tab open which asked if he degree is not in English upload translated degree .

Just general questions. Confirm your name, date of birth, etc. Just have your passport with you at the notarycam interview.

Why should I wait to send the epic report to GMC only when giving plab 2 ? Cant I send it two months before my exam ?

You can. No restriction. I chose to do it that way because that's the sweet spot where you can expect to register with the GMC within the next year. If you do it too soon and don't register with the gmc then you end up having to send the gmc the report again which could cost around 50 GBP or so.

Nice video doctor. I have a question about uploading on My credentials. Do you just need to upload one file? Like just choose which one from the diploma, transcript, post grad certificate or licensure certificate? Coz each one of those cost $100. Thank you

What you upload depends on what you are trying to get verified and for what purpose. If you are doing this to register with the gmc via the plab route then you only need to upload your medical degree/diploma. It should say on their website what to do incase you have more than one page to your document.

Ah that depends on how you register with the gmc. If you go through plab route then only MBBS degree. Don't worry about signing it. That process will be explained to you when you are on call with the notarycam.

Hi Faheem. You can't complete the process without selecting a medical school as primary source verification (I.e your university verifying the degree) is part of the process.

Hi sir, Great video! definitely the best video out there on this process. I had a query. I have applied for step 1 usmle too, which means I have already done form 186 passport notary cam verification. Plus I got my medical school degree verified when i logged into my ecfmg portal (usmle). Does this change the EPIC process in any ways? Thank you!

Hello there, During epic Verification of medical diplomaa, i mistakenly slected “directly send go GMC”. And my degree got verified within one day and they directly sent it to GMC.? Now as i am not planning to apply for new job there in recent future till next year. So how to undo it? What If I wanna apply for next year , will I have to send Diploma to GMC again (For which i have to pay) or they’ll consider this.? Thank you

Hi bharat. No need to worry. For a fee you can resend it. However please note that planning to apply for a job has nothing to do with Epic verification. It has to do with applying for gmc registration. So if you apply for gmc registration within the year then you might not need to resend the diploma to gmc.

Can I upload transcript and internship certificates ? My convocation is delayed so degree certificate is not available yet

No for gmc registration via plab route only the degree will need to be verified. Transcript and internship certificates are not what they require.

Hello Dr. Wajih..thanks for the informative video..May I know please how to deal with having an invalid EIF form..I have started the epic registration quiet long ago and did pay for it..but couldn't continue for some reasons..now I need it and I can't do the verification because of this invalid EIF form..thank you

i have already verified my credentials through ecfmg for usmle exams before..Do i need to also do this through epic before residency applications?? isnt this a repeat process though?

You still need to create an epic account but once you give them your details from the time you verified for usmle all the documents will be added to your account and you won't have to go through the whole ordeal.

Hi Tina. That depends on which route you are taking. I reckon you'll need both assuming you want to go down the post graduate route. Great Service. May I ask what if you aren't registered yet and only have a Medical Degree from an institution that is ECFMG sponsored and I'm only wanting this done to get into UKFP. PLEASE HELP. Thank You.
