Charlotte is the former lead singer of Delain, now solo. Myrkur is a Danish black metal band, lead singer is Amalie Bruun.

This is soooo freaking good, I love the blend of Epica and these wonderful crazy talented female vocalists. Really can't get over it, this song and video gave me goosebumps all over, chills down the spine and teary eyes. Simply love it! And the whole EP is a masterpiece as well! What a band and all these amazingly talented musicians work so well together I adore the result in the end!!

Thank you for reviewing 🙂. I have seen all three singers live. Myrkur toured with Epica a few years back and, of course, I saw Charlotte Wessels on Delain's final tour for the release of Apocalypse and Chill. All unique talents with unique voices 🙂

Zora Cock is indeed very talented as well. I like Blackbriar very much, seen them twice live. But to be honest I don't get these vibes, well a little than :) Simone and Charlotte had the most influence on this song so I got also Charlotte vibes, but we all have other feelings and so on about music. 🙂

"Will you take this dagger from me?" I would take it and I am not their sister hehe the song is somewhat hypnotizing, the riffs reminded me of classic theatre of tragedy.

Charlotte Wessels is the former singer of Delain, and her voice is incredible! Check out Burning Bridges and Masters of Destiny by Delain! I hear a lot of her influence in this song.

Good song but I found the lyrics confusing. Are they mermaids? And who do they want to kill with the dagger? Not sure what the message is, but very pretty and certainly not what I expected.

The song is about the myth that inspired the little mermaid, her sisters are telling her that she needs to kill the sailor that she is in love with, so when could return to the sea and live an eternal life. In this version, she kill him.

@@Cathelefay Ah, thank you. Not really familiar with the little mermaid tale (something to do with Disney?), now I can see where the lyrics are taking us. Originally, I thought it was mermaids trying to convince one of them to return to the sea, but the whole dagger thing confused me.
