Its ok but not too much knowledgeable. Nalanda have seventy subjects including vedic studies sanskrit and ayurved. Calling it Buddhist University foolish thing Don't do foolish thinking like Alexander Cunningham Nalanda University lies bihar known from ancient time for education before Buddhism mentioned in buddhcharit also. Bihar stand for vihar education center with gardens

Why pala inscription of Nalanda speaking Vedic teacher who is working in Nalanda. Now answer why name of indra, shiva , Parvati, found in Nalanda. Extensive exploration around Nalanda revealed shivaling and jain idol. So what u say now. Do u need report. I said I am working in ARCHAEOLOGY.

@@prakashtalesara777 ok let me tell you that Nalanda was a Mahayana cum Vajrayan monastic University which also believes in the existence of god's like Brahma, vishnu,indra,shiva etc. So what! Worshipping these doesn't make u a hindu at all. Know that these are just devta who are undoubtedly in Swarg but also in Samsara too. They are not Buddha. They are living the luxurious devta life due to their past virtues karma unlike you and me. It is senseless to me arguing with you who is not even aware of the roots, who mind is not even open. Pardon me dude had to say that. It wasn't intended.

In Nepal 🇳🇵 now a days also in indigenous peoples they follow shamanic rituals,and they called the gods and goddesses from nalanda mahakala for help to them from enemy and to hold the four directions

Kumaragupta performed an Ashvamedha sacrifice, which was usually performed to prove imperial sovereignty, although no concrete information is available about his military achievements. Based on the epigraphic and numismatic evidence, some modern historians have theorized that he may have subdued the Aulikaras of central India and the Traikutakas of western India. The Nalanda mahavihara was possibly built during his reign. The Bhitari pillar inscription states that his successor Skandagupta restored the fallen fortunes of the Gupta family, which has led to suggestions that during his last years, Kumaragupta suffered reverses, possibly against the Pushyamitras or the Hunas. However, this cannot be said with certainty, and the situation described in the Bhitari inscription may have been the result of events that happened after his death.

@@mukulwalke2889 how can you say. From Nalanda site jain idols also found and jain chronicles it was important for them also. Harshavardhan was great follow of sivanism and pala was also follow of Hinduism. Sad thing is that we see Nalanda through eyes of British or foreigners huien tsang. Lord curzon said Alexander Cuningham is good Archaeologist but he always see bias and look Buddhist ARCHAEOLOGY. According Alexander Cuningham Harappan was Chinese city and part of Buddhist religion. I am not fool . U can search my name Aniruddh Bahuguna Archaeologist. PhD prof in ARCHAEOLOGY sciences

@@mukulwalke2889 first thing search in Nalanda museum . 70 jain idols kept for display search htimes . I can provide easily source. Harshavardhan was shiva followers clearly written in harshcharit. Now case xuanxang read it carefully about it he was Chinese Buddhist travellers known as Huien Tsang in India. Read travellers history wherever huien tsang traveller jain, Vedic and Buddhism was prominent. Buddhist university started due to Alexander excavation
