I hope you enjoy our complete history of World War One - 'the war to end all wars'. This series - produced in 2015 - has been re-edited and re-released in 2022, as previous versions were age-restricted by KZfaq (presumably because human remains were visible in a few photographs - though always in a clearly historical, non-sensationalist context. The precise reason is never given by KZfaq. For those interested in what an 18+ history video looks like, you can watch the previous version here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fa1gf7xptLKmd2w.html). Unpredictable decisions by KZfaq can make life quite uncertain for military history creators, which is why we are so grateful to all our supporters at Patreon - please consider joining their ranks! www.patreon.com/EpicHistoryTV

I don`t find it fantastic at all. It doesn't consider so many details we already know. Gerry Docherty & Jim Macgregors view on this war is quite the opposite of this version here. As long as the old story is told, nothing will change. The told story is: Germany starts the war. But it isn't that easy! Germany's not an actor, it is reacting. You might read a lot of books and listen to many historians, but to get a close look on historic truths, you must also read the inconveniant historians and and one must ask oneself whether these alternative views are not plausible. Without learning facts from books like "Hidden history", "Prolonging the agony" and "Wiederkehr der Hasardeure" (transl. return of the hasardeurs), you cannot break up encrusted victors' history and make the truths visible. The only way to prevent history from repeating is to understand the mechanisms that led to mobilisation and declaration of war. The back story is the linchpin.

When I was a boy, the men who fought in WWII were in their 50s and 60s, and I talked to several old men in their 70s and 80s who had fought in the "Great War." Some of them knew men in their youth who fought in the American Civil War. It's crazy to think that I "knew the men who knew the men" who encapsulate so much defining history of our nation. I watch this perspective ebbing away, everyone buried in the current petty age. Even if it dies with me, I'll carry it proudly to the end.

Unfortunately this includes some very distorted propaganda. The Lusitania was carrying munitions and it's sank because the munition blew up. In 1980 the admiralty warned off salvage crews because there was still live ammunitions on the wreck. The ship sank in 15 minutes very close to land because while there was a small entry hole for the torpedo there was a very large one on the other side where the munitions exploded. Churchill was part of orchestrating this deception.

It wasn't a genocide. The Armenians betrayed and attacked us in the war. Although they were belong to the Ottoman Empire, they supported Russia. Therefore, we forced them to migrate, the main point of immigration was Anatolia cities not desert. They suffered as a result of immigration yes, so sorry I wish it hadn't. But what else could be done to treason during a war? We also suffered. Most importantly, there was no any genocide. Western media always full in hypocrisy...

By 1913 Europe's total population (including Russia) was 498 million. Around 60 million men were mobilised, with total losses being somewhere around 9 million soldiers. Another 9 million were taken as prisoners. So, that's 18 million, and 21 million men were wounded. So that's 39 million casualties in total. Considering that the total number of fighting men was 60 million, they weren't that far off from running out of men lol. And of course that doesn't even include civilian deaths.

It looked like from the start till the end they won most battles and attacks and caused the most damage even though the allies had more troops and basically the whole world on their side. As an Austrian I'm not ashamed to say that Germany carried this fight for us. When I saw The US declared war on Germany I knew it was game over though. Well, Romania indeed had a troublesome war experience in WW1, but we also had some very important victories on the eastern front at Mărăști, Mărășești and Oituz, against the German Empire which pushed them back in Transylvania. But not long after that, since the Russian Empire had signed an armistice, Romania was basically left alone in the Eastern Front, so continuing would've been a complete suicidal fight for nothing. We have decided to fight again near the end of the war for a little bit more, after recieveing help from the french troops and commanders, which resulted in a few more victories on the front in Transylvania. In the end, Romania did not have such an impactfull role as other and can easily be called "useless" in the war, but we have achieved our goals in this war, which were also one of the main reasons we have joined the war in the first place. If we look just at our most important victories in this war, then we had some impact, but not much indeed.
