I have watched several reviews of this guitar, and I'm now convinced, I'm going to get one as well. I love the options it has at this price. Coil splitting, and the phase switch option is almost unheard of at this price. I read another thing this guitar has that sometimes gets missed. It has a treble bleed circuit that helps at lower volumes. That will be real handy since my wife is an ER nurse, and she works nights. That means I have to keep the volume down during the day. Having the treble bleed circuit is just an unexpected plus. I feel that the things they cut corners on in order to offer what you do get at this price are negligible. You will not notice the things if your not looking for them. I think this is a good guitar at an affordable price. The Gibson style headstock is also a nice touch. 😎 I did end up getting a black one! I really love the options this guitar has , like coil splitting for one. This is the first guitar I bought with that option, and that is saying a lot because I have 11 guitars, although 3 were inherited.

After one year I'm still enjoying mine and when I saw it on the Epiphone video introducing the new line up Sweetwater had it for 479 dollars so I bought it on the 6 month payment plan and they let have 459 dollars and charged me a 10 dollars processing fee because I didn't want to spend that much of my stimulus check. The only thing I did was put on a pair of black with red numbers Gibson style speed knobs. I do like the chambered body sound.

Great review! I received my Muse yesterday. I'm a newbie player but as far as I can say it will be a great guitar for a beginner. My only beef with it is the ivory color of the humbuckerring, toggle switch knob and jack plate. I purchased the guitar online (lockdown shop close here) and hoped the ivory wouldn't be too yellowish but it is. I'll put either black or chrome parts on it. Shouldn't cost more than 15 euros at most for generic parts. My first customizing 🙂

For me, just me, phase split is like too many knobs on your stereo. Tone options that's why have tone knobs and amps do the heavy lifting. But the artist here is cogent, and masterful and I love Epiphone for same reason, playing a $3000 Gibson in a bar in Texas... can become kindling.

Most Guitar Centers are terrible, they're understaffed, and most of the sales persons are ignorant. There are exceptions, but generally i leave there disappointed. Also, the instruments on the sales floor are gross, they smell like ketchup, and have a coating of sebum.
