Alistair is one of the most decorated strikers in the history of MMA, I really hope he gets the belt.

even without it he's top 3 all time MMA heavyweights and extremely accomplished. I don't think he has anything left to prove. He's a legend

I hope alistair can fight another 2/3 years. Heavyweight division with out him is boring. I believe he can still conquer that belt.

I believe he can take the belt for sure! a win over Mark will get him right back into the discussion and especially if Jds wins the title i feel were gonna see a rematch. That being said im hopeful that Alistair will become the ufc hw champ at the end of 2017!

In term of skill Overeem is undoubtedly the most skilled heavy weight fighter currently but unfortunately his chin is completely blasted.
@MsMarios887 жыл бұрын
AppleTree i agree but let me ask you sth..do you believe that there is a hw out there(except titanium jawed Roy Nelson) who can take a clean punch or clean punches from a hw and still standing? I dont think so..so my opinion is that yes i agree with you that he has a weaker chin than other hw's but it doesnt matter that much in that weight category because everyone can get knocked the fuck out if they get hit.

Can't wait for the fights this Saturday, would love to see Alistair fight again for the belt. Alistair's daughter is amazing, she's special. Her smile at 1:19 just brightened my day. I know he's very proud. Alistair makes fatherhood look appealing to a bachelor like me. Great episode

Great video quality and overview of behind the scenes. He tried to make it seem as though he's kousher with Hunt, not a chance. The leg gash dramatically effected hunt with his punching power. Overeem worked the clinch like a bully in the school yard playground.. Dude fucking faceplanted haha

I can't say Alistar would be my #1 favorite fighter, but I can say he is one of those more intelligent ones. I would probably root for Stipe should they face each other again. Alistar winning wouldn't piss me off though. :) Stay healthy ppl

What an epic episode!!!! The quality is sick. 9:40 Dudes gotta work on their squat depth tho hahah!
@SmithCommaBenjamin7 жыл бұрын
An MMA fighter wouldn't dare train slow twitch muscle. You need to be explosive
@neikolasg7 жыл бұрын
Alpha Living don't want to hate, but for sure don't tell a professional athlete how to do his exercises
@AlphaLivingChannel7 жыл бұрын
Not saying he should train slow twitch muscle, just saying he would get better results from his squats if he increases the range of motion, but maybe he has a sore knee or back that prevents him going to parallel.
@AlphaLivingChannel7 жыл бұрын
Each person got their own expertise brother, Alistair is an amazing fighter, to 5 on my list. But his squats aint loyal, neither that dudes with the tattoos. Doing quarter reps on exercises will not be as effective as full range of motion exercises. Just my opinion. No disrespect intended to the reem nor his strength coaches!
@SmithCommaBenjamin7 жыл бұрын
He's not training for strength or mass. That would be a hinder. He's training his muscles to react faster. American Football players do the same thing. I'm almost certain that the guy has been in over 90 professional fights since 1996 and may know a little more than you.

Protect that chin and u will get that belt no doubt.
@lemnufio90557 жыл бұрын
i say that if Overeem is still in the top ten in 2019 I think that he will defeat the champ but he has to be careful about his chin. Because one punch will make him wably if you take a look at his other fights like.... -brown -big foot siva -werdum -hunt all of whose fights made him wably. if he does a better job not getting hit to the chin he'll conquer the belt.

@distone24807 жыл бұрын
김 김 because they can say no but at the same time, they really can't. So they usually have a lot of fighters that will target you and focus on your weaknesses but there's not too many heavyweights that will beat Allistair. He's a big dude even when he was skinny.
