MAJOR CORRECTION: In my research, I somehow related the film to Buddhism, and in secondary research and thanks to an eagle eyed viewer, the religion I meant to reference is Daoism. In essence, the meaning behind the use of religion still stands, as Daoism is in a way, similar to the teachings of Buddhism. I apologise for misleading anyone as that was not the intention and the analysis, I feel, still stands despite the erroneous reference - Sir Pepi.
Hi, I'm Sir Pepi, English, Drama and Photography teacher at Queanbeyan High School. Here at Room A7, we look at topics students at my school cover from Stage 4, 5 and 6 in the new Australian National curriculum in the form of a flipped classroom.
Episode 7 looks at the ambiguous ending and the possible arguments used to justify each possible resolution and coda. It is a bit of an ambiguous episode, but bear with me. Let me know if you disagree or if you think my thoughts on the final scene is just plain stupid - I would love to know if someone has reasons, analysis or examples that support a different reading of this film. I am always happy to be wrong.
Feel free to leave a comment or a query and I will do my best to reply.
