Oh man! I cannot believe I did not look for your content earlier and I recall all of your times with Tom on his channel. I’m a guitarist approaching hopefully somewhere close to TB, but I’m a songwriter predominantly. And I’m forcing more time on piano presently as I love it but neglected it for guitar too much, that I lost some power building on a different instrument. Now, I need it selfishly seeing it’s power and depth as more than an instrument but a writing host and I’m lucky to be very inspired presently. Here you pop back up in my feed with your own channel, and I’m angry I missed the last 12 months! We need you friend. The whole world needs your type of energy and knowledge. I hope you keep up with sharing what you can. TB is the man and he is a doorway to beautiful souls. Let alone, power house energy disciplines in people such as yourself.

I’m embarrassed to say that I did not know who you were until I saw the Home Skoolin’ episode with Little Tommy Bukovac (from Cleveland!). I was super impressed with your musicality and playing. Ive been a gigging guitarist for over 40 years and I do not play piano/keyboards. But I do appreciate great playing and you certainly bring that to the party! So like it or not, you just got yourself another guitar playing subscriber and I am very much looking forward to what you have to share, brother Gordon!

Between you and Tom, the fire is getting rekindled for music. I played "professionally" for 8-9 years before going back to school when our son was born. Guitars have been in the closet since, up until you guys fanned that flame. Thank you.

First time I came across your music was on the Gaither’s Give It Away video. Been a fan ever since. Been to several of your concerts at Dollywood over the years. I have a cousin who has also been blind all his life. He worked in radio. You and him are so much alike in personality and looks actually, similar build. I think the fact you remind me of my cousin so much is why I was first intrigued by you on the Gaither video, but then I started listening to your music more and am fascinated by your piano skills!

I didn’t know this has been out for 2 weeks! So sorry I haven’t been watching since it started but I will make sure not to miss another episode that’s for sure. I am subscribed with notifications for every new video. I’ve been waiting to see this channel since I first saw Gordon on Tom’s channel. This will be my new favorite channel. I feel so lucky to have insights from the humble genius of the one and only Mr. Gordon Mote. And btw, your technique looks way cooler than “ regular “ technique to me. I love the left hand slide...man it’s so killer. And the “ man made delays for intros “ from Tom’s video! Perfection! There is something about the way you play that instantly makes me want to rewind what you’re playing over and over. So much soul and feel combined with insane chops.
