Dear Mia, Thank you for teaching people how to work with horses respectfully and compassionately. In terms of finding out the story, there are wonderful animal communicators who could help by tuning in to what Callie is showing them visually and through feelings. I have experienced it myself with my dogs and it is very helpful.

Thank you for the videos! Just a note- I'd very much prefer videos without the music underneath the whole thing. It gets extremely grating, and I'm happy just listening to Mia work with the horses and educating us.

Again touching many thanks for sharing. We got a Tinker from Ireland (12). We were told they do not treat horses very nice in Ireland. She is brave to work with but she was very closed and not happy at all. Being with us for nearly 2 years (free as possible) she slowly opened up and is beginning to show affection. She had a big wall build around her for protection.

I would imagine that since horses are used to being with a herd, that Callie might very well miss"her herd" and probably, also misses "her owner." She obviously doesn't understand what has happened, why her herd is gone, why her owner can't be found. Horses love, and make friends just like we do. So, what happens to us when we move away from family and friends that we care about and love and come to depend on them being around us all the time. In my personal opinion, I believe that Callie, is heartbroken, and is sad and depressed/stressed, because of this loss of family and friends.

Beautiful Horse! She seems a bit lame? Is something going on with her hind legs / hip? Perhaps from a prior injury or abuse... I really hope Callie can gain confidence and trust. She seems like she's had it rough in the past!

People, almost all people do not realize the language of equines. Mia is exhibiting this language. ☀️

You say she is not ready yet, she is telling you time and time again but you wont leave her alone, you keep stepping in het corner and touch her, it is not a safe space then, she shivers, you notice and still keep forcing contact.

Hi Mia, Can I comment on this horse- I have seen the full video. Firstly I think this horse was overdosed with cattle pour-on and it may be relevant to do liver scans and hepatic bloodwork and supplement maybe with a little magnesium. Secondly, I think the sale video is an innocent copy by thieves who are stealing from a field to order, and should be reported to Police (Gardai) and Dept of Agriculture in Ireland. The identity document should be false. This horse was beaten badly as a control measure to deflect the buyer from suspicious theft, and would have been isolated and badly frightened.This is not normal behaviour. Whatever about the ownership, these people need to be found and any data- car registration, town, identity, passed on to authorities- it is unlikely this horse could have been sold in Ireland, it is too suspicious. Again , buy only from a reputable known registered seller.There are thieves in Ireland who specialise in this behaviour. This horse is unknowingly lucky to have you, well done.

Hi Mia, Tonight on RTE televison, Ireland, RTE Investigates programme, deals partly with false horse passports by Felix Burke, Sligo, Ireland. A new false passport from Northern Ireland is issued, with a false name, etc. These horses were sent to Sweden, and had two microchips. It may worth watching this,on RTE Player, /VPN maybe. as changes are going to be made in Ireland, and Northern Ireland Depts of Agriculture, over this scandal.

I did not find these training methods useful at all. You are following the horse around behind her, its just all wrong. Cutting her off and then walking to her does not encourage her to come to you at all. Shes telling you a story blah blah blah!! Wow!! I don’t know what kind of training method you are using but its quite honestly ridiculous. Putting your face around her hind legs while shes not even got a halter or rope on is just asking for trouble. Honestly i have worked with amazing trainers over the last 20 yrs and am enthralled with a few trainers here on KZfaq whos soft sensible methods truly work so well and nothing you do is logical. You talk about pressure yet you went after her when she stopped and faced you, thats when you release the pressure and turn away so they learn when they stop and face you the pressure is released. Absolutely aggravating watching this rubbish!!!
