This time, Combat Approved is going on an extreme expedition of the Ministry of Defense to Mount Elbrus. This event is unique in itself: the most modern Russian military armored vehicles will try to climb the highest mountain in the country. The film crew of Combat Approved is following in the convoy from the first day of the hike. On the way, filmmaker Alexey Egorov will test the durability and cross-country ability of the unique vehicles, including the newest armored vehicles Patrul and Tornado. Our program tested these vehicles in the cold and snowstorms during the expedition to the Far North. Now they will have to overcome the heat, sand and desert. A modification of the famous Typhoon armored vehicle will also take part in the expedition. Just a few months before the start of the expedition, the film crew had time to visit their tests and film rare footage: how they blew up, burned and fired those vehicles, which later will become participants of the mountain hike. Correspondents will show the performance of huge prime mover designed to transport S-400 complexes and advanced trucks Ural-Nekst in extreme conditions. With the help of all this equipment, Combat Approved will have to cross the deepest Russian desert near the Caspian Sea, where the first series of tests will be held in the sands.
